"Beautiful view,"
Wonderful hotel... Nice walking path around water inlet. The hotel itself was five star in my opinion . I stayed on the 14 th floor which is the executive suites. I highly recommend the executive level. It had the best free breakfast, orderives, and extras. Well worth the money... Our trip to San Fransico was incredible.

Overlooking the water, Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront places guests 4 miles (6.4 km) south of San Francisco International Airport, and a 20-minute drive from the city center. It’s an 8-minute cab ride to charming Burlingame, where travelers will find plenty of good shops and restaurants.More

"Cute vintage hotel "
It's a cute hotel, room was small but clean and comfy beds. Hotel offers no breakfast or room service but everything is walking distance. The attached restaurant is good but pricey and not a place for kids due to long waiting for service and food. The gym had two treadmills both broken. Two ellipticals one broken and the other slightly made some bumping noise. The parking is pricey and 50 - day for an SUV size vehicle. However the staff in the garage are the fastest workers I've seen, pretty much no waiting for your car, they were very friendly too. The location is great. Two or three blocks from cable car and main shopping.

This is a modern, big hotel. It is very nicely appointed if you like modern decor. There are clean lines everywhere. It could be considered somewhat generic. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. The elevators were spectacularly quiet.

"Great hotel with just one glitch"
The hotel and cleaning staff were great. The rooms were spotless. The hotel itself was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. My only problem was with check in. Unfortunately we had to come earlier in the day than expected because we had to leave prior to a hurricane. We showed up at 11 am and asked if we could check our bags until the 3 pm check in. We were offered that none in our amount were ready but for $40 more a night there was 1 ready. After agreeing to this based on the availability it suddenly became not ready yet and they would call us when it was ready. We were not able to go in until the 3 pm check in when we were notified. Beautiful room and view but a little irked at the misrepresentation.

The Fairmont San Francisco is located atop swanky Nob Hill, the only spot in the city where every cable car line intersects. Guests can hop a ride past the Cable Car Museum to Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf, or walk 4 minutes to Chinatown. Union Square is just a half-mile away.More

"Fabulous location at the heart of the city. "
Ok, seriously this really is a great location at the heart of the city. As a newer hotel it is in "new" condition which offers not only high quality details but it also newer technology. The staff was very attentive. I strongly recommend this hotel. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I did with my family.

Pacific Heights Hotel & Travel Guide

Sitting pretty between fast-paced Chinatown to the east and the sprawling slopes of the Presidio Golf Course to the west, the neighborhood of Pacific Heights is San Francisco’s quiet oasis amid the hustle and bustle of its startup culture.

Walk past hillside mansions, run your hands over fine fabrics in charming boutiques, and look out over the city from a peaceful park bench. Pacific Heights hotels offer a regal home base just minutes away from many of the city’s most iconic waterfront neighborhoods, including Fisherman’s Wharf and the Embarcadero. Rent a car in Pacific Heights and roll through the hills like Bay Area local.

    Visiting Pacific Heights

To take in Old California and bright up-and-comers side by side, cruise down Fillmore Street, where Victorian manors have been reborn as unique apartment buildings over the neighborhood’s most popular shops and small-town cobblers and salons. You’ll have no trouble filling the trunk of your rental car with exquisite finds from all over the world, all carefully curated in one small neighborhood.

Seek out gourmet coffee in the charming cafe scene of Lower Pacific Heights before setting off on a hearty climb up Nob Hill and into Chinatown, where you’ll feel like you have indeed entered another country. Watch extravagant Queen Anne homes turn to brightly colored paper lanterns strung between stately brick walkups. Weave your way through the busy avenues in search of delicious dim sum and wrap up some traditional Chinese pastries to take back to one of the top hotels in Pacific Heights to nosh with your morning tea.

Indulge in the height of Bay Area glamour or simplify the finer side of life and book a Pacific Heights motel. Travelocity’s hotels in San Francisco span the city and come with a price-matching guarantee, so you can rest as easy as the mist rolling in off the Pacific Ocean.
