Amazing location!!

This was my wife and I first time visiting San Francisco. We were a little overwhelmed getting to the hotel but when we arrived every aspect of our stay was amazing and we could not have been more impressed. Immediately greeted when we pulled up, they took care of the car and luggage, as well as offer complimentary wine! This hotel is in a great location in San Francisco, it's a quick trolley ride to any major attraction in the area (which pick up is right across from the entrance). Will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to San Francisco!

Overall just ok

Pros - nice bright big room with a nice view, an easy walk to most attractions, and a friendly staff. Cons - uncomfortable bed, loud at night due to the cable cars, the inexpensive earplugs the hotel provided didn't help. I'm also not sure how well they cleaned the room. There was a cookie crumb left on the floor that wasn't swept up for the three days I was there (I left it to see if it was ever going to be removed). Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, but I can't give it an A+.

Great neighborhood. Likely the most reasonably priced large hotel in the area when you consider that surrounding this hotel you'll find an Intercontinental, Ritz-Carlton, and The Fairmont. Close enough to Montgomery BART if you don't mind some SF hills.

Great hotel centrally located

Beautiful hotel but Ezra feed that you find out about after you check in. Charge for s package I didn't use because it was a leisure visit not business. Valet is great but expensive 55 per day with no other choice unless you want to walk blocks to public parking. Breakfast is pricey

Nice hotel at the top of the hill. very steep walk

Pros: Large room, good beds, free wifi, good restaurant, helpful staff, extremely clean
Cons: price
Location: easy access to san fransisco. on 2 cable car routes (they only run every 15-20 mins so it can be a long wait). a very steep walk to restaurants
Great hotel, all in excellent condition. at top of the hill with a really steep walk from all directions. very friendly and helpful staff. small restaurant/bar with good selection of food if you don't want to go out. good restaurants nearby if you can climb hills.

The hotel is located in a very nice part of San Fran.. , the overall of the hotel ist that is overpriced because the rooms are not the best in town and with that same money you can stay at the fearmont... They try to charge you for everything (50 for the valet) and the breakfast its 30 each person .... Very expel dive for what you get .

Great place! Centrally located

Pros: It is centrally located
Husband and I came here for a quick weekend getaway. Other than the weird concierge, the staff was great! So friendly and knowledgeable! I will definitely be back

Great, but some room to improve

Pros: Location. Common areas are pleasant and inviting.
Cons: Bathrooms. For the love of gravity, raise the shower head!
Location: Across from the Fairmont and near other swanky Nob Hill hotels. Stones throw from Chinatown, Union Square, Financial District, and Civic Center.
Great location. Easy access to sites and restaurants. Inviting lobby and common areas. Room was comfortable and clean, but just a bit loud facing California Street. Bathroom was the only real detractor - needs upgrades. The shower head hits at mid-chest and requires a full lower-body workout just to get under the shower head. Still, I felt the room was a great value for SF and will put it high on the list of options when I return.
