Nob Hill Without the High Price Tag.
Our room at the Stanford Court was a good size and had a nice city view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was nicely updated, though it would have been nice to have a magnifying mirror. The bar was great, and apparently there was food but we only had an appetizer and drinks; we didn’t see a dinner menu. There was a breakfast buffet and a menu you could order from with good choices. It’s not as fancy or elegant as some of its neighbors but the Stanford Court is a good value in a prestigious location. I would highly recommend this hotel, just be ready to deal with walking the hills!

Great place to start and finish a couple of days of exploring San Francisco. Great rooms and service - we arrived early and were able to check in immediately which gave us extra time to do other things.

Superb staffing cannot make up for site neglect. The Stanford Court is in dire need of a makeover. And please do something about the doggie smell in the 7th floor hallway.

Liked the food and staff was nice, especially the bar staff! Burger was best I had in san Fran. Room was a little messy in the corners of the carpet and under bed. Curtains don’t block much light. Would stay again.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. We paid “Nob Hill” tax of $38 daily for our stay as well as $75 parking per day. I am not quite clear on what Tasha tax pays for. The hotel was once a 5 star hotel but now features casual check in and very informally dressed front desk staff. There are no porters or special services in the lobby. The hotel is moving into a self serve mode and therefore does not feel like a higher end property if that is what you are looking for in this SF hotel.

Room was large and comfortable. Area around the hotel was very walkable and location was great. Staff in the lobby and the parking court were very friendly. Many eating options at the hotel.
