"Cute vintage hotel "
It's a cute hotel, room was small but clean and comfy beds. Hotel offers no breakfast or room service but everything is walking distance. The attached restaurant is good but pricey and not a place for kids due to long waiting for service and food. The gym had two treadmills both broken. Two ellipticals one broken and the other slightly made some bumping noise. The parking is pricey and 50 - day for an SUV size vehicle. However the staff in the garage are the fastest workers I've seen, pretty much no waiting for your car, they were very friendly too. The location is great. Two or three blocks from cable car and main shopping.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were surprised to be able to check in early! The only disappointment was the mattress felt like we were sleeping on springs.

Beautiful hotel but Ezra feed that you find out about after you check in. Charge for s package I didn't use because it was a leisure visit not business. Valet is great but expensive 55 per day with no other choice unless you want to walk blocks to public parking. Breakfast is pricey

"Both Positive and Negative Stay"
We liked everything about the location and stay at the Warwick except upon our arrival. Since San Francisco is know for being a pet friendly city we got the taste of that when we got the key to our room. The pet order in that particular room was so bad we had to request to be moved. The room is cute and has all you need and it was clean but the pet order made us begin with a negative feeling. I will say the staff was so nice, they apologized for the smell and immediately moved us to another room. We had the pet odor in our noses still so it took us all that day to get it our of our system. Thank god for lysol!! Walgreens is across the street and got a big bottle of it and sprayed every day. The new room didn't smell we just had the pet odor up our nose and wouldn't go away from the previous room. The location was great especially if you love shopping. All the name brand stores are arouund the corner and lots of nice cafe and restaurants, at night it was a little dreary because there is a lot of homeless people out on the streets so be careful it looks like all the creeps come out at night. I'm not saying I wouldn't stay there again because I would but I would have to be with a better rate per night because I think its pricey and not worth the current rate. There are other nicer hotels near by and walking distance wise for better prices.

"Location, Location, Location"
The small sized room was clean, clean bed and bathroom are essential for us. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to many attractions and public transportation, which we used to get around and kept our car in the hotel parking (a block and half away) all the time. The hotel restaurant was not operating during our stay, but we didn't really mind it. House keeping was good, we get our room cleaned and fresh set of towels every day. Window unites A/C, but it was so cold in mid July that we turned the heat on for an hour or so before we went to bed, so we didn't use the A/C. The WiFi was extremely slow with no internet access more often than we like, we had to go to a nearby coffee-shop to check email, ...etc. bottom line, we would go back and recommend this hotel to our budget minded friends and family. .

    Union Square Hotel Guide

San Francisco, California, is one of the top tourist destinations in the country, beloved for its picturesque hills hugging the Bay, and the Golden Gate Bridge and frequent shrouds of fog that create an even more spectacular scene. Find San Francisco flights and join some 18 million annual visitors in exploring the many sights of "The City," among them the bustling waterfront Fisherman's Wharf, the notorious island of Alcatraz, and the downtown shopping district of Union Square.

    Union Square

Union Square is the name of both a downtown plaza—a California Historical Landmark once used for Civil War rallies—and its surrounding neighborhood, the main shopping and theater district of San Francisco. If you love to shop, find cheap hotels near Union Square and save your money to spend at the many stores nearby. Within a few blocks you can hit major department stores, high-end jewelers, designer clothing boutiques, and two large malls, the Westfield San Francisco Centre and Crocker Galleria. High on the to-do list of anyone booking vacation packages to San Francisco is a ride on the city's historic, iconic cable cars. The world's last existing manually operated cable car system, a National Historic Landmark, has its turnaround terminal two blocks from Union Square. Hop on and hitch a ride all the way to Fisherman's Wharf, where you can enjoy seafood, embark on a bay cruise or trip to Alcatraz, or see and hear the resident sea lions. Also within a short walk of hotels by Union Square is Chinatown, a vibrant, 24-block district of authentic dim sum restaurants, shops full of exotic goods and curiosities, and historic landmarks including the ornate Dragon's Gate. It's the largest and oldest Chinatown in North America.
