The bed was comfortable and housekeeping was very efficient and thorough when cleaning! The breakfast offered could have been better but it wasn't terrible. The hotel is old and shows it's age but I would stay there again.

The best parts about the hotel are the staff and the proximity to Universal Studios and HMart. The downsides unfortunately outweighed the good for us. BOTH ice makers (floors 2 & 4) were out the entire 4 day/3 night stay. The breakfast was exactly the same each day, with us having to microwave the sausage patties because the were not fully warmed thru. Make your own Waffles, cereal, bread, bagels, scrambled eggs and sausage patties everyday. No yogurt or oatmeal options, and the bananas go really fast. Coffee is pretty good. There is absolutely no place to sit outside anywhere in the hotel unless you go in the pool area. The rooms do have both a mini fridge that has a freezer and a microwave. Rooms were clean, great water pressure and the water gets hot. The hallway on the 3rd floor did have kind of a misty and stale smell. Overall this is a good hotel for a quick one night stay but we wouldn't stay for a multi night week again.

Great parking and location. Our room was fairly large, but very outdated and run down. The lifts were incredibly slow. For the price I paid, it was a fair place to stay, but just know it’s all very basic. I stayed here in September 2025 and there was a major flood on the morning of 09/19/25. The fire service were present and I heard them saying they would need to condemn the building. We were never actually told anything by the hotel staff in the 90 minutes between being woke up by the fire alarm (at 7:30am) and when we decided to pack up and leave/check out. The fire service never even told the guests if it was safe or not to re-enter the building. I felt for sorry for the hotel staff during this ordeal, but I do think some kind of safety guidance should have been giving to the people outside wondering if it was safe to return to their rooms.

The had a backed up tub. Then sent me to a different room, I forgot an item and went back to get it and just that quick they was making up the bed to rent it out to someone else. I had already laid in that bed. The linen and nothing was changed. Why would you put someone in the same situation that I just experienced. The second room was no better. It seemed to have had some kind of water leak. The service was not good as well.
