"We recently stayed at Drury Plaza Hotel in Richmond while attending a 40th wedding anniversary celebration in the DMV, and our experience exceeded our expectations. We chose Drury because a new location recently opened near us in Brandon, FL. Although we haven’t stayed there yet, it’s been incredibly popular, so when I saw the Richmond location on Expedia with an additional discount, I booked it. I had called that morning about early check in, but it wasn’t available. However, after we landed, we stopped by the hotel before our event, and Kim at the front desk was incredibly accommodating and able to get us into our room. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine customer service made all the difference. Thank you, Kim! The hotel was spotless, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We also loved the amenities… complimentary breakfast, the evening Kickback with food and drinks, drink tickets, and fresh popcorn. Those extras add tremendous value, whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or on business. Overall, this is a clean, welcoming, family friendly hotel that delivers exceptional value for the price. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked another Drury for our upcoming trip to San Antonio. Looking forward to another great experience. Thank you to Kim and the entire team for making our stay memorable!"

"A property with a lot of character. Did not realize that getting to the room involved stairs. This was not a problem for us, but would have have been one for someone with less agility at our advanced age. Bathroom was clean and updated, and ac and water pressure and temperature in shower were great. Easy walk for us to theater and restaurants nearby. Will return again!"

"Room was great. Clean and quiet. The rest of the building is in disrepair. Giant fans to recover from water damage were going in the lobby at all hours. Sign on ice maker on second floor said it was inoperative and to use the machines on 3 or 5. I took the only operating elevator (the other one was out of service) to the 3rd floor which was completely torn apart installing new lan wiring throughout. Huge bundles of cat 6 cables hung down from the ceiling about every three feet giving the place an eyrie post apocalyptic video game vibe. The ice maker was out of service on 3 so I went to 5 and all was fine."
