"It was $90 bucks, hot water, good water pressure, and clean so it was worth it on a budget. BUT room 221 had a lousy bed, with little flat square pillows, and a shower head that was low enough to touch my 5'4" head."

"We enjoyed our stay at Highland House! We were attending a wedding in Hamilton and decided to make a weekend out of it. The home is charming, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The property is well kept, and very peaceful. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and our children visited the cows frequently. They may have been the highlight of our trip! We talked frequently about trying to come back in the future just to get away. The main reason we chose this place compared to others was the pool. Unfortunately it wasn’t opened yet, so we can’t provide any feedback on that. However, there was a lovely outdoor space that complimented the pool well. Maybe we will have a chance to return in the future and enjoy the full outdoor experience!"

"Excellent place to stay! The price seemed too good to be true but based on other reviews and our stay last night, I can honestly say this is a great place to stay with great prices and great comfort. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. On our arrival, there was a woman out cleaning up the parking lot. It was nice to see the efforts being taken to ensure cleanliness of the property. If you are looking for a high end fancy hotel, this isn't it but if you are looking for a simple clean, quiet, and safe place to stay then this is for you. We will definitely make this our designated stop each time we come through that area."
