The Shamrock Ranch was the perfect place to gather to celebrate milestones in life, create family memories, laugh, and bring in the holiday season! We had our annual salon retreat at this beautiful place. My staff truly enjoyed all the amenities it had to offer. Excelsior Springs is such a cute town. Lots of shops and wineries around. Honestly the house is enough to sit back and unwind. ***VRBO has things listed that are not accurate for sleeping arrangements. Just write the owner Denise she is super sweet and easy to work with.

Wonderful getaway in the country!

Beautiful cabin on a spacious, well-kept farm in the country. The cabin had more than enough room (including a large patio, a deck, and a front porch) for our family of 8 adults. It is a ways out of KC, which can be a plus or minus, depending on your needs. For us, it was perfect, and we loved our time there!

Awesome Girls' Trip!

We have been friends for over 48 years and wanted a place to unwind and catch up with each other. The cabin was the perfect place! Denise and Mike, the owners, were wonderful. The ranch was perfect for our little family reunion!

We live in Minnesota & traveled to Kansas to spend time with our family that lives in Kansas. The house was absolutely wonderful for this! There’s enough room to host family gatherings during the day and have plenty of space to “play.” We set up games outside, went for walks, fished in the little pond, visited the cows across the street, and walked to the beautiful winery for live music & fabulous wine (it’s on the property!). Mom's 87th Birthday Celebration

We have been blessed to celebrate our mom's 85th & 87th birthdays at the Shamrock! We love the Shamrock and the grounds, it is beautiful and so well appointed. Denise & Mike think of everything! The Best Ever

This property and the amenities did not disappoint in any way. It is such a peaceful setting. You must see the decor! Having been to Ireland twice, I appreciated all the Irish accents. It is absolutely beautiful; you will feel right at home. Be sure to go on a walk past the barns and enjoy nature while you are there.

From the fresh baked cookies to the well-stocked pantry and cabinets, to the gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces, to the FUN fishing - this was the best long weekend spot EVER! Staying at Shamrock Ranch was like staying at a good friend's home, one with four full bedrooms, 3+ bathrooms, a cool loft, and all of the considerate touches that make a truly memorable stay. Our adult kids agree that Shamrock Ranch is a "great find." We are ready to book again for next Memorial Day weekend!

Girls' Weekend

Seven of us stayed here celebrating a year that we all turned 70 !!! :) And it was great for this group. The house is beautiful and it had everything we needed. We walked over the hill to the winery and enjoyed some wine and snacks there and spent Saturday visiting the other local wineries and several fun places in Excelsior Springs for eating and shopping!
