Nice hotel

Pros: It was close to where we wanted to be.
Cons: Every thing was pretty good.
Location: Close to the airport and our relatives.
The entire area where the hotel was located had a power outage from about 9 p.m. Till after midnight on the hottest day (99) Newport News had had! The three of us luckily could squeeze in with relatives and didn't use our rooms that night so actually paid over $500 for two nights but only used the rooms one night.

For a trip to VA Air and Space Museum

Pros: Cookies, milk and coffee available at check in
Cons: Redesign the downstairs to give more room for the breakfast bar!!! Better mattresses
Location: We stayed cheaper here and drove down to the Virginia Air and Space Museum/Nasa in Hampton, as well as the Buckroe Beach.
The internet advertised that we could have a rollaway bed in our room, so we requested one. Upon arrival, we were informed that rooms with two queen beds could not have a rollaway bed. Yes, upon looking at our room, we realized it was too small to fit one. No problem, but don't advertise that we can have one when it's clear we cannot. The furniture was nice which made up for the cheap looking texture of the walls. Having been to two other Hamptons in September in Georgia, I was not at all impressed with the space allotted to the breakfast bar. The food was fine enough and the staff pleasant, but it was too crowded! The mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable for me personally, but still better than some. Overall, we still liked this hotel and trusted its cleanliness (very important to us); I was just a little disappointed after staying in newer, bigger Hamptons previously. Regardless, I would still stay here again.

We stopped here quickly on our way to OBX but it was a perfect stop. Breakfast was quite nice for being included. Room was quiet and the hotel was packed so great place to stay.

Very nice hotel for the price and location.

Experience was very pleasant. Welcoming and helpful staff, clean, comfortable room. Complimentary breakfast had good variety with many options. Location was great, minutes from the airport and close to a mall with plenty of eating options, yet in a relatively quiet area. Bathroom shower water stream was a bit weak and the toilet seemed to take quite some time to recycle after flushing but that was minor. Really the hotel provided everything we wanted.

Incredible staff and customer service

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, friendly staff, across from a mall and shopping
For the money, you can't beat this hotel. We were in Hampton for basketball tournaments and this hotel was perfect! The free breakfast changed every day and was very good. The bedding was very comfortable, comparable to high end hotels with good linens, extra pillows, down comforters, etc. The Hotel Staff was truly one of the nicest I have ever encountered!! They were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful!!! I definitely recommend this hotel!!! Try to meet Mr Russell while there. He is so friendly!!!
