Never had a check-in delay like this in my life anywhere in the world. The stated check-in time was 4:00 and we tried to check in at 3:00. The staff said they could not tell if the room was ready or not, it was waiting for an inspection. There seemed to be a major disconnect between the hotel front desk staff and the housekeeping staff, like it was two different companies. We finally checked in at 5:30, after waiting miserably for 2.5 hours. If I had not gotten so frustrated with the front desk staff, I think it could have taken the whole night for them to determine that the room was ready. That was a real pain. They tried to make amends by giving me a $50 restaurant voucher, but that is nowhere near as valuable as the time my kids spent waiting to go to the beach. And please don't ever suggest that I should take my luggage into the lobby bathroom and change my whole family into their swimsuits there, and store all our stuff at the front desk. Not when I'm paying $500 a night. If I wanted to do that I could have camped in a park or stayed at a Motel 6. Everything else was fine.

Our check in time was 4pm. We arrived shortly after 4 and had to wait hours to get in our rooms. It was very frustrating after driving all day long. We were exhausted and just wanted to get everything in our rooms so we could relax. The other negatives were, having to pay for internet. I don’t know of places anymore that charge you to use the internet. That should be a basic amenity for free. I also went in the laundry room one evening to wash a few loads and seen 2 huge cockroaches!!! These were the only complaints I had. The rooms were nice and the overall stay was nice. The roaches were pretty disturbing and charging for internet seemed like trying to rip off customers who already paid quite a lot to stay there.

My daughter and I both loved the indoor and outdoor pools… The room was wonderful I loved being on the corner of the building and having a view up the street and of the oceanfront

The hotel looked cool. The pool area and sundeck were nice and it is RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The downside is that if you don't valet you have to park 2 blocks away, the room was very dirty (floor was sticky, bedding had stains, hair in the sink) and very loud. We could hear every word of the people in the room next door. They also harassed us as soon as we walked in to listen to their time share spiel and would not let up until we did.
