Great stay - highly recommend!

The location could not have been any more perfect - literally a few steps from Rockefeller Plaza. The common areas were small - but the staff's warmth and helpfulness made it feel like home away from home. The hotel was also very clean and safe.

I had a wonderful experience staying at The Jewel Hotel. Its location was excellent, if felt safe and clean, and the price was surprisingly reasonable for a mid-town location just steps from Rockefeller Plaza.

Great location

I was surprised that my room was not serviced while I was out during the day, even though the do not disturb sign was not on the door. And there was no mention during check-in that I needed to notify them if I wanted at least the bed to be made, trash picked up or fresh towels. The carpet looked a bit dull, like it needed a cleaning. Other than that lobby staff was very pleasant.

We stayed in a corner room overlooking the city and could see Radio City Music Hall and through a reflection could see the lights from the Christmas tree at the Rockefeller center. It was magical! And mostly quiet even though we were above the street. 10/10 would stay here again! Staff super nice and extremely helpful. In the middle of the city and walking to Times Square was a breeze. Nothing wrong with this hotel!
