Great hotel! Great location!

Pros: Spacious, quiet, and our unit had a nice and clean kitchen
Location: It's located close to Koreatown - so great korean BBQ!!
The hotel is small and unassuming. But, the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even though our room faced the street, that wall was basically all window, we couldn't hear traffic at all during the busy traffic times. This hotel was great for a quick weekend getaway.

This really is a NYC bargain

Pros: Location, good size room for NYC, and nice staff.
Cons: Maybe a one page tip sheet for tourists listing the subway station and what train to take to the most popular tourist spots.
Location: Near the 33rd St. subway station. 2 blocks to Koreatown's good restaurants, french pastry shops and other cute shops.
Just spent 5 days at Hotel 32 32. We had a queen bed with a sofa bed that became a double. Sofa not the most comfortable, but it's a sofa bed and was just fine for us. Room was a good size by NYC standards and the built in drawers and shelves were a great addition. Lots of light from large windows. Staff was nice and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast, but I heard it was very good. I've already recommended this hotel to friends. Room Selection Tip: The 10th floor facing the street has a large balcony with a table and chairs. We had a small balcony which was nice, like the other floors. Please note that if it is nice weather and people are going to be on the larger balcony, that you select a room away from the 10th floor. We had 2 different loud groups that kept us up until all hours. One group partied all night and morning. This isn't the hotel's fault, of course, just wanted to share so you can make the best room choice.

Great Location - breakfast service not great!

Pros: Location
Cons: Add milk or juice for kids to breakfast options, remove snow from entrance, clean between mattress and bed frame and bellman needs to help guest!
Location: 32 station was very convenient
While our stay was only 2 nights, we found the location and level of service at Hotel 32/32 as pleasing but not exceptional. The room was about what we expected. Breakfast was nice to have but you have to go next door or to the next block to get it. Traveling with two children and your options for drink are only tea or coffee was not acceptable. No juice or milk for kids was included... $2.40 extra for each. Parking was a block away and the attendant said my card did not work forcing me to pay cash. I called my bank in a panic and my card was never processed. While this is not a direct reflection of the hotel, they are in agreement with this lot and hold some responsibility. Cleaniness of the room - if you looked between the mattress and the box style frame of the bed - it was extremely dirty! UGH! Access to the hotel was difficult due to large piles of snow from a recent storm. The bell man watched me struggle to unload and walk thru the snow. Service could have been better. All he really did was push the cart.

Comfortable Hotel Close to Subway

Hotel 32/32 is a great value. Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean. Rooms are small, but comfortable. When visiting the city, one doesn't usually spend much time ones hotel room.. The subway is a half block away, so getting anywhere in NYC is convenient. It was perfect for us. They were very happy to hold our bags when we arrived before check-in and after check-out when we had an evening flight. Breakfast was included via a voucher to a local restaurant. We very much recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

Really Nice for Not too Much

I didn't realize there were two different buildings, but the check in was quite easy regardless. The staff were nice. I checked in very quickly. The room was clean and much more than I'd expected for the cost. I'd say the pictures online don't even do it justice. Check out was simple. You get a voucher for breakfast at a place about a block away (which was also delicious!). Overall, a very pleasant place to stay during my short trip.

The hotel is VERY basic. Not even. Lobby to speak of. But when we reached the room we were pleasantly surprised. It was on the larger size for a NY hotel room, with new furniture and an updated bathroom. and it was clean. Our main issue was that the doors were not sound proof at all and we could hear everything in the hallway. Unfortunetly we also had a loud neighbor that kept us up one of the nights despite the fact that security asked them 3 times to keep it down.

Pros: Fun neighborhood.
Cons: better/more experienced management
Location: shopping and eating on 5th Ave and Madison Ave
Did not have my reserved room type available. TV did not work. Did not replace my used towels, bath mat or robe. No business center available.

Great location

Pros: Location location location
Cons: Their interaction with travelocity
Location: Empire state building, tons of bars within walking distance but not right next door, Close to MTA 6 line
The hotel is in a prime location, hence the high price you'll pay for a room each night. I booked a room with 1 queen bed, 2 sofa beds, and a balcony on Travelocity and was placed into a room with only 1 king bed. The staff was able to relocate me into a room with 2 queen beds, but still no balcony. Overall my experience was great at the hotel but call the hotel before arriving to make sure you're getting what you reserved. P.S. Free breakfast is down the street and is delicious!

NYC wedding trip for family

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Don't worry about small lobby. They still took care of our bags when we arrived early morning until we got back to check in that evening.
Location: Couple blocks from Empire State Building. Walked to Times Square/Broadway, Macy's, Park Ave., Fifth Ave, Grand Central, subway.
Outstanding experience beginning to end. Staff accommodated entire family on top floor with all queen suites, despite our adult kids coming in on different days and more than one reservation. extremely clean rooms, updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. Outstanding location. Can't say enough about this place. Only warning -- the hotel's newly opened second tower is across the street (32nd East is small one-way but across street regardless). An unexpected delight was Captain's Cafe where free breakfast is provided every morning - a couple quick blocks east walk from hotel.
