You got to remember that even though a room might be relatively expensive compared to some cities, for Manhatten, this is cheap. You got to expect to receive a cheaper service.
The breakfast was pretty bad with only a few options available. Most mornings we went elsewhere for a bagel, so no biggie.
I liked that coffee was available from the machine 24/7.
Whilst we were there a guest was placed in the next room with a big dog, which would bark loudly when the owner wasn't there. This was a concern for us, not only for the noise but for the dog's welfare. After we complained the hotel did offer us two different rooms, but there were issues with both of the rooms on offer (broken thermostat or no natural light). So we stayed put and hoped for the best. Our friends, who were staying 2 floors up, could also hear the dog.
