The breakfast area was always out of items and extremely overcrowded. There was no apple juice or orange juice 4 out of 5 days of our stay. Our room had no heat. Had portable heaters placed in it. One did not work and one shut off every few hours. We had to ask toilet paper 3 out of 5 days. We had to ask for towels 3 out of 5 days. The staff was friendly and nice but the overall stay was extremely poor.

The front desk was amazing. Breakfast was so good and unexpected (i thought it would just be continental). Room was comfortable. Walking distance to a subway station for long journeys, but was able to walk to my broadway show in less than 30 minutes as well.

Our accessible room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The hotel overall is not in top condition. The shower was almost impossible to use except as hand-held. There are just two small elevators. Breakfast was truly awful. The only bread item was sliced white loaf. I couldn't swallow the potatoes. The front desk staff were mostly friendly, but here is one very simple suggestion: when a guest arrives to check in, no matter how important whatever you're doing on your phone is, just look up, smile and say "I'll be with you in just a minute." We usually stay at another hotel on the same block, and I think I'll go back there next time. The rooms are a bit smaller, but the staff are super helpful and at least you can get a bagel and a decent cup of coffee for breakfast. Which, for $500 a night, isn't really asking too much.
