Upon checking into the room, huge disappointment. No fridge. No coffee maker where we want to make some hot water that we need for medical reason. The room really needs renovation.

Allan, we apologize if we did not exceed your expectations during your stay. As standard in most entry-level hotel rooms on and near the Strip, a fridge and coffee maker are not included. We do have suites that include these amenities. We also serve coffee in Southside Eatery and hot water should be available from room service and/or housekeeping. We hope this helps and that you'll consider coming back.

Just OK

Pros: Inexpensive. Close enough to the strip. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Spend more time cleaning the rooms and checking to make sure everything works properly.
I got to Vegas a day earlier than my group and needed a place to stay for 1 night. I chose Hooters based on the decent reviews and cheap price. The check in process was smooth and everyone seemed friendly. When I walked into the room, it was extremely hot and the AC was turned off. I turned it on and left the room for a few hours. When I got back, the room was fine. The bed was comfortable. The next morning, I went to shower and noticed that there was hair on each of the walls and in the sink. The tub also drained really slow. The toilet tank cover was a different shape than the tank and was just sitting loosely on top. I pulled out the ironing board and iron, only to find that the iron would not work. I checked out the same day and mentioned the issues to the person at the front desk. He wrote everything down and said that he would let Management know so that it would be corrected for future guests. I stayed at the Aria the next two nights. Everything about the Aria was nicer than the Hooters. If you are willing to spend a little more, I would definitely recommend staying there.

Why am I paying $160 in "resort fees" ?

Pros: It's cheap and relatively clean
You get what you pay for, and for a budget hotel/casino this one is exactly what you should expect for the price. Cheaper table games than you're gonna find elsewhere, and Steak N Shake was a nice cheap place to grab a bite. My biggest complaint is paying $160 in "resort fees" for a hotel that has ZERO amenities...apparently this is to pay for the Raiders stadium...why can't the locals pay with a bond issue? Totes BS....and no secure WiFi either

So glad i only booked one night!!! I got to it to some cockroaches, after Im assuming it had just been cleaned. Then that following morning, the water was freezing and the drain was not working! it was cold and disgusting, I had to do a baby wipe bath outside the tub. so disappointing.

Very disappointed

Check in should have been a sign. Check in was at 4 p.m. I arrived at 6 PM to check in and was advised my room was not available and I was going to be placed in a room with a single king. I booked a double queen due to two couples sharing the room. I was then told if I wanted a room with two beds I would have to pay an upgrade fee for two beds per night. That made no sense to me since I booked a double queen room. After a lengthy wait they were able to “wave” the fee for the so called upgrade. We got to our room and it was extremely out dated. Not what the photos on the website depicted. It looked like my grandmothers house in the early 60’s. The shower did not drain so you had to stand calf deep in water while you showered. If you turned the hot water on to much it caused an ungodly vibration in the wall and the water pulsed out of the showerhead. All problems were reported to hotel staff and all were ignored. I did enjoy the Hooters restaurant and Steak and Shake. Staff were extremely friendly and service good. The bar tenders in the hotel however were extremely rude and unprofessional. Attempted to get a mojito serval times and was told they were either out of mint leafs or it was to late to other mojitos. They advised pitchers of mojitos yet impossible to order. Will not be staying here again. If you need a cheap low budget low quality hotel this is your spot. On the upside some of the cheapest drinks in town.

It was just ok

Rooms are a little worn out & outdated. Wish they had a regular restaurant, steak & shake only for breakfast kind of sucks....breakfasts were not that great. Having a 24hr hooters is great!! Casino was great & clean. Bar was nice & expensive <$8.00 beers>, karaoke at night in there was annoying & way to loud. I would stay here again.
