Arrived for late checkin Thursday night 7/19, staff at front desk was not friendly or accommodating. Called front desk for extra pillows and was told to come down to get it myself because they had no staff to bring up. Also asked if I can used a wine opener only to be told I can buy one. They don’t have one for me to use. Definitely didn’t feel like a welcomed guest but an inconvenience to them the whole stay. Hotel is under heavy renovation but did not indicate how extensive the work is on their website. The dining area serving their complimentary breakfast was congested and felt like a cafeteria due to their renovation/relocation. Had I known, I would’ve have definitely stayed somewhere else. One of the most disappointing stays in any hotels I’ve ever experienced!

I love embassy suites. One disappointing moment was when the evening reception ran out of coke and the bar tender said she would bring it to our room after we waited a while for it. The bar tender never showed up.

Great alternative to the 'casino crowd'.

Nice room, very good breakfast and not a slot machine around. Good place to stay in Vegas if you need to be close to the strip but prefer not to stay at a casino.

great features! Front desk?

Only complaint was the daytime front desk service. Checked in early evening and everything was as expected. great room with a good view. Mgr's Cocktail reception was great, a little low on the appetizers (ran out). Room a little noisy when next to elevators. Made to order breakfast was excellent, anything you could ask for included with room. Biggest complaint was that by booking independently when I arrived at the hotel they asked for my credit card for incidentals and held $50 on my card. Then at checkout wouldn't release it or give me a statement at checkout to show zero incidentals. Why would you hold $50 for incidentals when it is all inclusive? Refuse to give a receipt because I booked through an outside agency, and then three days later make me call my credit card company to dispute the charge or hold. So a pleasurable stay was clouded with me leaving without knowing if my card was being charged additionally or not. A terrible system because if you leave you have to dispute it with the hotel over the phone. Great hotel and convenient location off the strip. Bad customer service.

Good food for breakfast.

The room was excellent, enjoyed the courtesy bus to the Las Vegas strip, saved a lot of money by not using a taxi.

Embassy Suites cost considerably more than other hotels in the area.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: very worn facility
We usually prefer Embassy Suites. However, this facility seemed to cost more than the hotels near the strip and had fewer amenities. The breakfasts are a big reason why we prefer E.S., and this was very good. Also, the evening drink hour was nice with some homemade chips and dip. The room itself, while clean enough, was not as clean as one would like, the shower area in particular. We were also situated near the elevator, even though there seemed to be enough room for a better location. We booked this room in July and stayed in November. We assumed that might give us an advantage in room arrangements. All in all, we will still consider Embassy Suites, but probably not the one in Las Vegas.
