Old but good location.

Location and breakfast is the best part. The actual hotel is older and the rooms are small but the front porch makes up for that.

The property is perfectly located to walk anywhere in downtown Gatlinburg or even nearby walking trails. The breakfast is wonderful and the hotel is very quiet and calm.

Just very musty smelling. I apparently didn’t research enough before booking. It’s a very old place and known for that charm, I guess. But not what I expected or wanted. It was dank, so musty and outdated for me. Had to leave and go somewhere else. The smell was giving us a headache. And wouldn’t work with us about letting us out of the three night stay. I offered to pay for one and they wouldn’t do it. So we just lost the money, left and went to an updated normal hotel. My husband’s fault. He booked it. Lesson learned. And don’t go always go by the ratings…. I guess everyone has different tastes

Weekend getaway

Amazing location. Service was terrific. The hotel is truly historic all the way to the phones in the room. We were there during the songwriters convention (lucky circumstance). If you are looking for a great location right in the heart of Gatlinburg I can’t recommend this place enough.
