Loved the mountain views and how close to the activities the hotel was located. The staff was very helpful and was able to check us in in a timely manner. Great time!!

Don't be fooled by the photos. This property is in serious need of rennovations. The room was dated and run down, carpet old, sink vanity formica was missing, vertical blinds were missing the pull so it was nearly impossible to open the door to the balcony. The pretty pictures on the web are of the newest building and accomodations for business conventions, not the vacationing schlubs. There was no breakfast available because the restaurant was closed for renovations, which would have been nice to know upon booking. This property is no better than the ones down the road in Pigeon Forge that go for $40 a night, yet they are charging $100+. The only thing this place has going for it is the front desk staff are nice because there are several other options that share the "location" perk that include a hot breakfast. Parking is also the pits if you're in the top/back building as they have roll-offs taking up at least 4 spaces. There's nowhere to park after 9pm except down below and then hike up with all your stuff. Too many other options that are much better. We won't be back to this property.

The room looked like it was from the 1970’s. The carpet was torn and coming up. The hot water faucet on tub was loose. When you finally got the water adjusted right and pressed the shower button, then only cold water came out of the shower head, it the took another five minutes to get the water adjusted then when taking a shower, you got warm water, then maybe hot or cold water. There was no consistency. Plus the water pressure was horrible. They did have relatively new mattress, however the bed just had a comforter and no bed skirt. There was no chest or dresser to put your clothes. The wall with the TV on it had nothing else on that wall. There was enough room for about five people to put out their yoga mats and have a yoga class. The vertical blinds has slats missing, so you did not have complete privacy. The room was just not pleasing to the eye. It looked like a room your relative threw together to accommodate you at the last minute and they really did not want you to stay very long with them. For the price charged, I would rather stay at a newer hotel. The cleaning crew did not arrive until around 3pm each day, then they wanted you to sign a paper indicating you only wanted towels and nothing else. I said no, you need to make the bed too please. The restaurant on the property had decent food, however the restroom there was nasty and had paint peeling off the walls and doors plus it was not handicap accessible.

Built at the base of the mountain by a stream, you'd think the "river view" room would be ideal. The view is of the river, and parking lots, bars, rears of stores, and most of downtown Gatlinburg. It's convenient for walking to town, but it's not peaceful due to traffic and bar noise, so don't expect anything romantic. Parking is cramped and hilly, even for compact cars. Check in is slow and desk clerk courtesy is minimal. A plus is that they allow you to park there if you arrive earlier than the 4:00 check in time. The room was run down but appeared clean, despite the toilet running all night and numerous areas than need patching and painting. The tub and fixtures could due with replacing, too. The A/C units drip all over the walkway, making it slippery and look shabby. Everything everywhere needs to be cleaned/fixed/replaced/painted.

Nice, clean hotel in downtown Gatlinburg

Pros: Within walking distance to all attractions in Gatlinburg. Also very clean.
Cons: Hotel could us a little updating, but all in all, it was very clean. Restaurant on property could use lots of improvement, mainly staff.
Location: Downtown Gatlinburg with all attractions within walking distance.
We requested a room with a king bed and were given a suite with a fireplace and very large bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to call maintenance for a couple things and they were prompt in coming to our room and very helpful / friendly. Very pleased with the hotel and staff. But NOT pleased with restaurant on the property - Drafts. Very rude and unfriendly staff. Would not recommend to anyone.
