Beautiful, Spacious and Clean

Wow! This place exceeded my expectations! A great place to house multiple families! Every room had their own bathroom! A tucked away gem! Beautiful home with a lot of space. My only complaint would be that they only provided one pack and play and with a home that big you are bound to need more with multiple families. I reached out hoping that they would be willing to invest in another one but they didn’t. So we had to bring several even though we only needed them for one night as we were going on a cruise the remaining week.

Amazing!!!

All of it! The home, the space, the beautiful setting, great location. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! The home had everything we needed and more! Loved how each bedroom had its own private bathroom.

Spacious and clean

Our group of four families stayed for a dance competition on the island. The home was immaculate. Everyone had their own bathrooms, plenty of beds for everyone and lots of space to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet and while it feels far from everything, was never really more than 10-15 mins from where we needed to be. We liked being away from the craziness of seawall and crowds. Plenty of parking and room for “stuff”. Would definitely stay again!

Overall good experience

Place was nice and in a nice secluded area. Easy drive to moody gardens and the pier. The place had one less bed than advertised but still had plenty of room. The washing machine didn’t work so clean towels were short on the last day and don’t expect decent internet as it’s just a mobile hotspot. Overall the stay was good and I would book again in the future.

Wonderful house

We enjoyed our one day stay before our cruise. The home is absolutely beautiful! It’s huge all five bedrooms had a bathroom. We would definitely stay again. Russell’s the host communication was great.

Family vacation

Egrets nest was the perfect home for our family to stay while on vacation. The house was very clean. Each room had its own bathroom which was very nice with more than one family staying. There are not many homes in the community that are occupied therefore it was very quiet. The view was beautiful and we actually saw dolphins one morning. There is also a pubic beach less than 5 minutes away I would highly recommended this property

Nice Home Away from Home!

The home is lovely. Perfect for our annual family mini-vacation. Weather was not cooperating but we did manage to get a few days of fishing/crabbing. Russell was very responsive to minor issues when contacted. Views are spectacular. Lots of space to enjoy the property!

Beautiful home

This house was great! Very spacious and clean. We had a great time and the owner was quick to respond. It was not in a high traffic area so we didn't have lot of noise but still close enough to everything. Would definitely recommend!

Clean, beautiful view, great for families.

The property was very clean, updated and fit our family of 16 perfectly!! The owner was great at communicating and I love the fact that it was gated and secluded a bit. The views of the bay were amazing and the house was well stocked with our needs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which worked out well for us. Hoping to do this same house in the summer.

Weekend Galveston trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It was a beautiful location, with water views all around- perfect for sitting on one of porches and relaxing. There was plenty space for 13 of our family members, and they have a bunk room that is perfect if multiple families are traveling with kids. It was a gated community, so it felt safe and secure. Each room has its own bathroom as well, which is a huge plus with multiple families traveling together. The photos were accurately depicted and the manager was very quick to respond to any messages. The only downside of this home is that it was pretty unclean. I would just suggest passing that on to the cleaning crew because I’m sure they’re supposed to be held to a higher cleanliness standard. Overall, we would absolutely return and visit this home!

Room for all

We had a great stay. Having a bathroom attached to each bedroom was great having a dog family there. The beach is only a few minutes away, grocery store less than 10 mins away. Host responded quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay again. For future guest, bunk room doesn’t have a fan, so may want to bring one,

Could have been great -- But Wasn't! Disappointed

GOOD - Great views, Secure, Quiet & good access. BAD - Couldn't lock front/back doors. Key didn't work. Dead bolt frozen in. Refrigerator needs work. Constantly was beeping. Froze our food, ice dispenser didn't stop ejecting ice. Stove. left front burner didn't work. Igniter is broken off. Smoke alarm in one of the upper bedrooms was missing. Thermostat needs to be fixed to wall.It is just hanging by wires. It does work however! Toilet paper holder in the master bedroom area needs to be fixed again. Has been knocked off and put back on several times due to use of long screws Carpet in master bedroom was curled up & clear tripping menace! Not one spatula in the place. Nor a corkscrew. Walls throughout were filthy. Some things had been stuck on onto walls above living room windows - pretty unsightly. You might try repainting with semi-gloss or satin, it cleans better. Floors throughout were also filthy. You might want to have a talk with cleaning people!!! Most mattresses like sleeping on plywood except bunks which were really, really soft. Living room sectional is totally sagging & broken. Really uncomfortable. We were relagated to sitting on dining chairs when watching TV. Last but not least. I would highly recommend that IF you are a Senior or over weight or otherwise not in "tip top" shape, you find another place to stay. The stairs are KILLER!

I had a great stay!

I had a great stay! The living areas were big and perfect for relaxing. Everything was clean and tidy, which made me feel at home. The place had everything I needed, from a kitchen full of supplies to good bathroom products. You can tell the hosts want to make sure guests are comfortable. I really liked staying here and would recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable, well-equipped place to stay.

Breathtaking View!!!

We planned a family weekend getaway. We wanted a beach house with no close neighbors and in a quiet area. The beach house is in a gated community which was a plus. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Each bedroom has a full size bathroom. I highly recommend this place!!!

Great property! Amazing views, clean and no neighbors on top of you. About 20 mins to get downtown- which was perfect as around the house was very quiet and in gated neighborhood.

Roomy with a view
