Flight Review

Mar 18, 2020

My luggage was damaged on this flight. While I am happy with the customer service received at the airport, the care of the claim has been underwhelming. All I have received is an email asking for the information that had already been provided.

Mar 16, 2020

Seats on small plane very uncomfortable. Breakfast omelet and sausage were not good. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Mar 15, 2020

Wi Fi was not working on the flight.

Mar 10, 2020

The baggage costs are ridiculous we went to Europe and they did not nickel and dime us to death on baggage

Delta has improved

Mar 10, 2020

On my flight from DFW to PDX the free wi-fi was not working. That was disappointing. I heard others mentioning the issue on the plane as well.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Portland

Your trip to Portland kicks off as soon as you've completed the security checks. We've put together a list of handy tips to make sure you get through quickly:

  • Have your boarding pass and passport somewhere accessible. They'll be the first things you'll be told to produce by airport security personnel.
  • Coins, belts and wrist watches should be placed in a tub for X-raying. If you walk into the body scanner with any one of these items, you'll be turned around and requested to remove them.
  • Make sure your phone, laptop and other electronic devices are within reach. These items need to be sent through the X-ray machine in separate tubs.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, liquids and gels in a separate bin for inspection. Make sure they're all packed in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • The airport security will likely ask you to take off your shoes prior to entering the body scanner. Wear a pair that you can take off easily. There's nothing more annoying than having to do your laces up again and again.
  • Some places have strict biosecurity laws. Think about where you're headed to and whether or not you can fly with fresh fruit and meat.
