Excellent Flight. All was good. Staff very friendly!

Mar 11, 2020

There was an issue with airport staff my husband needed assistance with getting to our gate and there was a golf cart and a Delta person near it and I asked if someone could give my husband a ride to our gate due to he was having issues with shortness of breath due to the walk she said yes she would find driver upon finding someone he wanted to argue about how they were going to get him there and they asked at least 6 times what gate a third person got into the argument and I finally told my husband to get in the wheel car I would just take him while they continued to argue who was going to do it and after I had taken off towards our gate with the wheel car and my husband the one lady came running to us and said let me take him I said No it wasn’t needed I would get him there I told her to go back and do what she was doing which she said she was going on break I told her to go and she did. I found that very sad that there was no compassion there at all and I felt we were not a concern at all to them and to argue with Who was going to take him That’s Very sad and left me with a negative view of Delta that I probably won’t fly with Delta again if this is how they treat their customers. Thanks for listening

Good flight

Feb 28, 2020

Peggy was an awesome flight attendant. My husband asked for extra leg room and she made it happen. I was so appreciative that we were able onto have a comfortable flight home due to this and her service.

Feb 28, 2020

Wish WiFi would allow streaming services and not AA entertainment

Feb 24, 2020

The only issue I had was the flights were so tight to get to my connecting flight and had to run all the way to my next flight which I missed. Too close connections are simple terrible.

Feb 21, 2020

The seating and leg space was more comfortable and roomier than I have experienced with some other airlines.

Where to stay in Indianapolis

After an exciting day of discovering Indianapolis, you'll need somewhere comfortable to rest those weary feet. Luckily, Indiana's state capital spoils you for choice! 1,565 properties can be booked via Travelocity.

Treat yourself to luxury at the Conrad Indianapolis or the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites. After all, it's not every day you take a vacation! If you'd rather spend your money on fantastic Indianapolis activities, make a reservation at the Americas Best Value Inn Indianapolis S or the Super 8 by Wyndham Indianapolis South.

Places to visit in Indianapolis

There's nothing quite like catching sight of Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time. So, if you're heading to Indianapolis, be sure to put this world-famous attraction at the top of your travel program.

So much to do and so little time. If you want to discover the best this city has to offer, add Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art to your travel itinerary. If you have an extra day, visit NCAA Hall of Champions, and Lucas Oil Stadium too.

Sports supporters should head over to Indiana Convention Center to see a game. Like some more options? Indianapolis Zoo is definitely the place to be for animal lovers. And that's not all there is. Ensure you save some space in your suitcase if you plan to visit Circle Center Mall.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Indianapolis

If you like the thought of spending more time at the airport bars and restaurants and less time wading through security on your way to Indianapolis, follow these suggestions:

  • Be sure you know the location of your boarding pass and passport. You don't want to hold up the queue when you're asked to present them.
  • It's helpful to know that belts with metal buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you have one on, you may be told to take it off before proceeding.
  • Laptops and other electronic devices must be placed in a tray to be X-rayed.
  • Hand cream, toothpaste and other toiletry items in cream, liquid or gel form need to be stored in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters). They must also fit in a 1-quart (1-liter) clear zip-lock plastic bag.
  • Think about the type of footwear you want to fly in. Slippers are awesome because they're a cinch to step out of when you're at the security checkpoint. Try wearing some on your next journey!
  • Put any multi-tools or other sharp and pointy items in your checked luggage. Security personnel don't permit these on the aircraft.
