There are so many good things going on in Indiana that the state's tourism catchphrase "Honest to Goodness," truly sticks for the Hoosier State, also known as "Land of Indians." While it is uncertain where the "Hoosier" nickname came from ("Who's Here" or "Who's Ear," depending on whom you ask), what is clear is you will find many great things to do in what is coined the "Crossroads of America."
Indiana boasts a rich, cultural heritage steeped with Native American settlements, followed by European arrivals. The Native American customs date back to the Ice Age, and visitors can take in the Indiana and Bluespring Caverns for exciting exploratory tours through Indiana's caves. Museums that have become historical sites, including stately mansions and interactive history parks, retell Indiana's story. The famed Indianapolis 500, held every year in May, is another great reason to speed on out to Indiana. If you miss the race, however, you can still check out the famous race car museum, located near many fine hotels in Indianapolis. Still, there are so many things happening in Indiana that booking plane tickets to the state is an amazing way to spend a vacation. From its farms and orchards to golf and zoos, you can enjoy plenty of outdoor time. If you'd rather stay indoors, check out some of the antique and retail malls, where you can shop to your heart's desire.

LOVED the location! Only issue was our room had no towels to take a shower, only had 3 hand towels:(
I liked the location and the facilities. The bathroom shower head did not have a pleasing stream and the bathroom mirror and lighting was inadequate for a woman face and makeup application nor did they have a secondary mirror for a woman’s use in bathroom or near the seating area in the room. Overall ...
The location is right where you want to be in downtown
