"The staff was great. The beach access is wonderful. The two things I wish I had known about was our extremely out dated and dirty room. The carpet, smell and ripped sheets felt like i was staying at a motel 6 off a freeway. If you are to stay DO NOT get a room in the back. The low fence and short bushes made us feel extremely unsafe. I was shocked. At night there were people sleeping in thier cars and drunk people just feet away from your sliding glass door. Those two things will stop us from ever going back. If it wasn't for those two things I would give this place an absolutely glowing review because it was beautiful and the staff were all so very nice! It felt like who ever owns or manages it is cutting so major corners."

"Check in issue was our fault. Could not find the apartment. Very small. Price very good for location. Good for one person or couple. Parking difficult near beaches or very expensive. No good restaurants nearby. Plan to do a lot of walking."

"Perfect spot right on Mission Beach. The interior of the house is nice, clean, well appointed with lots of towels, tons of kitchen items, a few beach toys and chairs. The views can’t be beat. Parking was a little difficult with our large SUV but manageable. The loft space is really cute with a great deck. The exterior of the house needs some work but it looks like the owners worked on the interior first. This was an excellent value for graduation weekend right on the beach and sleeps a lot of people comfortably. "

"You really can’t beat the location. It’s just steps from the beach. The place itself was clean, spacious, and fully prepared for our stay. The property manager was easy to reach and even checked in with us before arrival, which we appreciated.That said, I do think the listing and photos give the impression that this is more of a standalone condo like many of the other properties on the street. In reality, it appears the building was subdivided into multiple units and feels more like an apartment complex.Our biggest issue was the lack of clarity around parking. The listing should clearly state that while a garage is provided, it’s only suitable for very small vehicles like a Mini Cooper or Chevy Spark. We were traveling in a minivan, which absolutely did not fit. Trying to make it work turned into a frustrating situation and added about 45 minutes to our trip while we searched for alternative parking. We ultimately had to park about a mile away.Traveling with three kids to this specific listing made the situation especially inconvenient and definitely took away from the overall experience."
