"Very Cute! We plan to come back w/ friends!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Triada Palm Springs! This was our first visit to Palm Springs and really enjoyed our selves. It was an anniversary trip, so we left the kids at home and were happy to enjoy the pool with all adults, i read reviews saying not exactly kid friendly. Which was perfectly okay with us, we did notice that they allow dogs and thought that was nice. The service and organic food at the hotel was so GOOD! Oh and we loved the LOCATION :) one block from downtown, So convenient! The hotel has beautiful villas and we plan to come back with your family reserve a large villas. The price for our 4 days stay, which included hot delicious breakfast every morning, and valet parking was so REASONABLE PRICED! I was even over charged and they refunded my credit card no problem. Service is great. Our only complaint was our room had a strong paint or chemical smell when it was locked up while we ventured around town, every time we came back to the room we would have to open the windows and air it out. Something that wasn't a big deal to us cause we run into this a lot of trips was the bed was a little firm :-/ but we have a very plush bed at home and like i said run into this when we vacation. Other we were very happy with our stay and they left a great impression for our First trip to Palm Springs!

" Great location but in need of upgrading "
Overall our experience was nice for a short stay. The hotel staff was great for the most part- all friendly and helpful! That staff was probably the best thing about the hotel! The hotel lobby is nice and modern in a minimalist sort of way. But the disappointing thing is the rest of the hotel didn't look as good- the elevator, hallways and outdoor entry to our room gave it the feeling of a 2 star motel! It definitely needs to be improved in that aspect! Although once we stepped into our room, it was good. The room is modern and spacious and bed was comfortable with extra pillows(which I liked!) . Only complaint is the bathroom which was in need of repair- toilet smelled & didn't flush well, the door hinges were loose and the shower pressure was really low. Also, the pool was clean enough but nothing great. Construction was being done outside of the pool area so wasn't good timing for us. The lounge chairs and other outdoor structures are old and need to be updated. The restaurant at the hotel had great food though and excellent service. So overall, it wasn't the greatest but satisfactory & pleasing for a 2-night stay!

Every time I book a hotel room using travelocity, I get the worst hotel room that's located away from the pool and on the highest floor, even though there is a lot of space available.

"Great concept and location..."
I know this brand well from other locations and this one is in need of a refresh. Shame since the staff is nice, and the service is good, but the hotel is dated and feels cheap in comparison to it's competition and sister properties.

"Positive atmosphere"
The most cordial and pleasant staff I've ever witnessed in any hotel or casino. It was infectious since it came from every person on the various venues within the hotel. We can't wait to return.

"Relaxing Stay! We'll be back!"
My wife found Colony Palms on Travelocity. We were looking for a quick getaway with our kids and Palm Springs is one of our favorite places to go. The Colony Palms feels like a secret resort instead of a bland hotel. Very beautiful, classy look and VERY clean. The staff are very friendly too. The food is outstanding as well as the pool and spa. We had 4 people (2 adults 2 kids). The room was a little small but we managed. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of communication between my online request and the first room we were given. I requested a double bed online at Travelocity along with a bath in the room. However, when we arrived a 4pm for check in, we were given a single bed, no bath. I requested a double bed but housekeeping wasn't ready. We waited in front of the new, double bed room for one hour and the room was cleaned and ready all along (!) There was an apparent miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping. I would also like to recommend that the staff be a little more generous and offer an upgrade when these things happen. I requested an upgrade but got denied, even though the hotel clearly had plenty of vacancies. Aside from this glitch, my family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of peace and quiet :)

"Hotel close to restaurants and convention center"
Check-in was fairly fast, the room was very clean and comfortable. I liked the ability to set a temperature rather than having to guess low cool, fan, etc.

"Unique experience"
I very much enjoyed my stay. I stayed in 15 different hotels over a 2 week period during a recent vacation. The 7 Springs Inn & Suites was the most memorable. I wish that I had been able to stay more than 1 night. I did enjoy the swimming pool.

    Banning Hotel & Travel Guide

When you're in a city flanked by the rugged slopes of majestic mountains, every moment is enhanced by the beauty of the scenery. Strolling to a local lunch spot, seeking souvenirs on a busy shopping street, and lounging on the balcony of your hotel room—all are made more memorable by an ever-present vista of forest tracts and peaks at times capped with snow or warmed into bare gray. Book hotels in Banning, CA and find yourself within one of the deepest mountain passes in the Lower 48. With the slopes of the San Bernardino Mountains to one side and San Jacinto Mountains to the other, you'll find your gaze turns forever upward, captured by the alluring mysteries of the landscape.

    Visiting Banning

John Muir once wrote: "The view from San Jacinto is the most sublime spectacle to be found anywhere on this earth!" Such high praise—and from one of the wisest and most inspiring wanderers in recent history—is an irresistible invitation to see it for yourself. Venture out from hotels near Banning, CA and journey into one of several protected nature preserves that surround the city, including San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. Depending on your chosen trail, you might traverse sparse, shrubby land where roadrunners catch your eye with a darting dance, or tread through the cool, pine-scented shade of an alpine conifer forest. Lakes, waterfalls, and natural springs dot the landscape and await your discovery. Arrange Banning rental cars and drive to nearby Palm Springs, where the famously breathtaking Cactus to Clouds Trail begins. Take the challenge of its steep path to San Jacinto Peak and assess whether the panoramic views across Southern California's deserts and mountains live up to Muir's adulation. A unique aerial tramway offers an alternative route. Book a room in one of many Palm Springs hotels and you won't have far to go to rest after this unforgettable adventure.

Ready to journey from the sand to the snow, from the cacti-covered desert into the clouds? Book Banning hotels with Travelocity and you'll be on track to behold SoCal's incredible diversity.
