Home away from home triplex two bedroom with office

Looking for a medium-term rental in ATX? My triplex has all you need and more. With a versatile stay length of a month or longer, I manage my own homes and I can work with your schedule to make sure you're set!

Individuals or a couple will love this spacious unit of 900 sq ft. It has excellent amenities including keyless entry and 2TB Google Fiber Internet making it ideal for guests looking to work remotely in the separate office space.

The home has plenty of parking and is in a great neighborhood. St Edwards University is within walking distance or take a break from work and head out our back gate to Blunn Creek Preserve for a nice hike.

The home is split into three different apartments. Unit A is at the entrance on the left side of the home and the bedroom windows face the backyard. There is a designated spot to park in the driveway and plenty of street parking out front for free.

Walk through the small courtyard to the entrance and straight into the living room space where you'll find the TV and a dining area to your right, under a beautiful skylight. Feel at home with a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for a long or medium stay. The home's open concept allows for great entertaining with an island that seats four and a futon perfect for movie nights or watching the big game!

Here for work? Plenty of outlets are placed around the island so you can take meetings while enjoying your coffee or hide away in the office space where you'll find an office chair and desk with a professional background for your video calls.

The master bedroom has a king bed and is toward the back of the home across the hallway from the bathroom. The bedroom contains two closets and an extra dresser for plenty of storage for your stay.

The second bedroom is also the office. It contains the office desk and a chair and also a Murphy bed that drops down when you're ready for sleep. The room has its own closet to stow away more of your luggage.

The large bathroom makes getting ready a breeze. Storage for your toiletries can be found next to the mirror and also in an extra linen closet full of towels.

The laundry is located inside the large walk-in pantry in the kitchen, as seen in the photos.

Windows throughout the home allow for natural light to flood in. Prefer the dark? Close the blinds for a dark movie night!

Guests are welcome to access the home, the table and chairs right outside of the unit, and also the large backyard. We ask that you respect the other guests as the backyard is a shared space between all three units. There is also a gate to the Preserve that the yard backs up to.

This is a triplex. The backyard is shared between the three units, but we ask that if you have not rented out the B unit you avoid their patio space directly outside their unit and use the grass area or grill patio space. Your private patio is located directly outside your unit's sliding glass door.

Our neighborhood is full of young families and Austinites. Just down the hill from St. Edwards and right next door to the Blunn Creek Nature Preserve, the neighborhood is highly sought after. Conveniently located near I-35 highway, the home is ideal for commuting throughout Austin.

Fantastic location

The location of this property is perfect! 10 minutes from downtown, a quick walk to south Congress, down the street from HEB. We appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Nils. He was a fantastic host and wanted to make sure we were comfortable.

Amazing, Near most hot spots in ATX!

Where to start? Nils is such a great and accommodating host. Being a woman who would be staying here alone for 2+ months, safety was my biggest concern. I researched extensively to ensure the area I booked was an area I felt safe and comfortable enjoying the whole space, not just the inside. Nils was gracious enough to tell me the area so I could visit. Again, to ensure my safety, I contacted Nils very frequently during the booking process. Probably to a point of announce to Nil, but he never showed he was bothered by this and answered my million questions and even agreed to Facetime me so I could see the person I am renting from. He showed just as much concern for my safety as I did. He is extremely accommodating and willing to hear you out and work with you to ensure you both are happy! Among many accommodations, Nils allowed me to move my move-in up thankfully, because I was without power during the horrible ice storm here in Autin in February. The Area: This is the St. Edwards University Area. It is so beautiful, quaint, and quiet, which is amazing considering its about 5 minutes from DT and 3-5mins to South Congress and 1st Street! About 10 mins to the East 6th area. An HEB (grocery store) is about 4 mins away. Tons of safe quiet streets/neighborhoods to go for walks/runs with sidewalks. And you can also run/walk through St. Edwards University, it boasts probably the best view of DT I have ever seen. Overall: Yes, this is an amazing amazing location. Beautiful home, with great internet strengths. But my biggest win here is the safety level. I would rate a 100! The area is very safe, and Nils does everything he can as a host to ensure you are feeling safe by communicating regularly and accommodating your needs when he can!
