Wish There Were Better Hotel Options Nearby

Pros: The lobby is nicely decorated. Housekeeping does a great job.
Location: Bone Daddys' (restaurant) shares the parking lot. Cedar Park event center is about 15 minutes North.
We had planned this for months. We were going to a #TexasStars v Chicago Wolves game in Cedar Park, and looked specifically for accommodations with an indoor pool & hot tub. In the weeks leading up to our stay, there was no Travelocity or onsite communication to alert us of the ongoing renovation. Imagine our dismay, when the only knowledge afforded us, was at the piercing siren of the fire alarm that went off about 15 minutes after we had settled into the room. As we entered the hallway, we were told by other guests that it was "probably a false alarm, caused by the dust created by the sanding by the painters (on the floor) above." The alarm is an unholy body racking noise....and it happened two more times, within the next hour. Fortunately, the screaming alarms ceased for the day, and more importantly, did not occur overnight. The next morning, we all looked forward to the hot tub. We called down to front desk, to ask if there would be towels available at the pool. "There should be" was all we were told, in a noncommittal tone. We were happy to see a well-stocked towel rack, but the hot tub was ridiculous! It never got above lukewarm, and the blue dye (used in it to reduce algae growth) began to turn our fingernails blue. We felt like Easter eggs. If you don't intend to use the spa / pool, the lobby is appointed beautifully. If you don't find it inconvenient to have the ONLY bathroom light switch outside (in the entry hallway), this is a passable hotel.

Just an overnight stay so did not use any amenities. Rooms were what we reserved, including a handicap room, clean and nicely appointed. Good sound insulation - did not hear any exterior noise other than beating rainstorm during the night. Access is not well marked off of highway.

By far the greatest to my satisfaction.

Very easy to get to. Beautiful interior of the lobby and rooms. Able to get in and out of hotel from different sides of the hotel. Friendly staff, good service, never any waiting at the front desk, and fast friendly service. So clean, organized, renovations were amazing, and very adorable to stay. It's like going to a 5 star restaurant, but only paying for a 2 star restaurant. Thank you very much for our experience.

Very Nice Hotel in North Austin.

Pros: I did not use the weight room but did check it out. I will use it the next time we visit. The Halls were spacious and well lit.
Cons: The Pool is small but indoors.
Location: The hotel was conveniently located to north Austin. Plenty of great restaurants nearby! The Arboretum is nearby also.
This was a Sisters trip to visit family in North Austin.

Good location/Great staff

Pros: Location and staff
Cons: The mattress.
Location: Close to great shopping, restaurants, stores like Nordstrom Rack, Homegoods, Lowes, designer stores at the Domain--Restaurants like Trulucks, Jaspers.
The hotel was conveniently located and close to main travel routes. Lots of attractions nearby, e.g., The Domain, excellent restaurants. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. The only problem was the discomfort of the bed mattress. Otherwise, a good place to stay in North Austin.

Nice Hotel, but Still a *Little* Disappointe

Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Better attention to details: working ac units, noise reduction, better coffee in the lobby, etc.
Location: Near the Arboretum and The Domain.
The hotel was very difficult to find, being recessed away from Highway 183. That's great for reducing highway noise, but signage left something to be desired. First impression once I entered the lobby was favorable. I noticed that dinner was available for purchase from the hotel's restaurant (reasonable prices for hotel fare, but I passed on it), and there was also a small convenience center where one could purchase toiletries, snacks, and even frozen dinners (that's a big plus when going out for dinner means stepping out into the freezing rain). The room was spacious and well furnished. Free WiFi worked flawlessly, and decent selection of TV channels. Despite being mostly comfortable, the room suffered somewhat from the fact that the air conditioner/heater for the room was not working on that cold night. Fortunately, ambient heat from the rest of the hotel kept the temperature in the room from dropping too low. Also, the room was directly above the HVAC units, which generated a lot of noise. Of more minor note, the TV remote's batteries went dead--hardly an emergency and not worth mentioning by itself, but mildly irritating in combination with the other items. I was disappointed that breakfast was *not* included in the cost of my room, and I was even more disappointed when the free coffee in the lobby turned out to be undrinkable. All things considered, it was a nice hotel, but it stumbled on some details that kept it from being great.
