"Very clean "
Very disappointed with night staff. We checked in late from attending my daughters wedding. They were very friendly, but. We asked for a wake up call to meet with family before they left town on Sunday. No wake up call~ ☹️ Missed saying Good-bye and Thank you for making the trip. I'm hoping it was a overlook.

"Great Stay"
Four day stay over Easter weekend. Staff members were all very helpful and professional. Room was in excellent condition and bed were comfortable with high-quality linens. Hotel was very quiet and common areas attractive and clean. We ate only one breakfast in the hotel and it was very good.

"Good place to stay 15 min from downtown Denver"
We got a different room than we signed up for. They comped us two days of buffet breakfasts and two nights of parking for the change, which was acceptable. Housekeeping took my contact lens solution. Staff replaced it quickly after I called them. Staff sent a shaving kit to our room in about 15 minutes. The TV entertainment system is quite complex. It costs extra to watch a movie, or access the TV internet browser. The TV channels were limited to less than a basic cable selection.

"not as great as the price"
It was fine, but I did expect more for the price. We never did figure out why we had 1 cup for coffee when there were three of us in the room and 5 coffee pods to make. the room was clean and convenient. The staff was very friendly and good other than housekeeping who were not very responsive.

"Love the location and all the amenities "
The rooms are always clean, the restaurant is excellent, the only thing missing was the service at check in. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 5 pm and the compensation was nice but the lady who waited on us had no service skills, she looked like she was really stressed out or just not too happy to be at work that day. Otherwise everything was great.

"Overall nice"
We did not spend a lot of time wandering the hotel's grounds as we were only there for one night - arriving at dinner and leaving early in the morning. The restaurant options onsite ranged from about $12 for a meal in the pub and up from there. We were told the $12.99 "resort fee" was for internet, the shuttle, and the coffee/tea in our rooms. The only place where I was able to get all bars for the internet was in the lobby. In the halls and rooms, I mostly had 1 bar for the internet connection. That was annoying since we had paid "extra" for it. There was only one choice of tea in the rooms (earl gray). Again annoying since it was part of the extra charge. There were 4 wedding parties at the hotel that night and we were woken up 2-3 times in the night by people returning to their rooms very loudly (we couldn't hear people in the rooms next door or above us, but people in the hall were very easy to hear). Overall it was a nice facility (a little outdated, but well maintained and clean), the bed was very comfortable, the room was comfortable and clean. The "resort fee" seemed like a way to just add money to the room rate without adding value to the stay as the services charged for are not above and beyond any 3-3 1/2 star hotel that does it for free (except for maybe the shuttle, which we didn't need). We stayed on a great deal through, so I didn't feel badly about the stay for the price we paid.

    Arvada Hotel & Travel Guide

Arvada, Colorado, is a suburb just northwest of Denver. There is no real physical break between the two, although there is a spiritual one: Arvada is very much its own entity with its own vibe. The town sprung up after the discovery of gold in 1850, and grew swiftly due to agriculture—at one point, Arvada was known as the "Celery Capital of the World." Book a stay in one of the hotels in Arvada for a quieter alternative to Denver, while still being close enough to enjoy the best the city has to offer.

    Visiting Arvada

Arvada is 30 miles west of Denver International Airport, and you can get there by taking the airport shuttle into Denver and changing buses at Union Station. Alternatively, taxis can be hailed from outside level five of the terminal building, and you can book a rental at all the major car rental companies, which have counters inside. While primarily a residential city, Arvada has some attractions worth seeing, like the Cussler Museum, which features a large collection of classic cars from the last century. The Historic Olde Town is a lovely place to walk, shop, and eat, and it's a real slice of the past. If it's nightlife you're after, the best place to find it is in the Lower Downtown area of Denver, eight miles to the southeast. There are lots of cheap hotels in Denver that you can check into if you're staying out late. To the west of town lie the spectacular Rocky Mountains. There are some amazing mountain drives, so rent a car in Arvada and get out there! There are lots in motels in Arvada and the surrounding area to stop off at on your travels.

Denver is a laid-back city, and Arvada is even more so. For a chilled-out vacation, book Denver flights and Arvada hotels on Travelocity. You can save up to $537 when you book a hotel and flight at the same time.

*For these packages, package savings is at least equal to the cost of the flight or hotel if booked separately. Note: For packages including flights, you will be charged by the airline for the flight, but your savings on the package will equal the cost of the flight.
