Seems this is the trend: Get the customer to pay as much as possible on top of the price of the room: breakfast for $14, parking for $16. It’s not like hotels are going broke. I know this hotel chain can afford to give its customers free parking and perhaps even a free breakfast. Other than that, this is a nice note.

Great room and lobby with disappointing amenities.

The hotel was really nice including the rooms and the lobby. However there were some kind of hidden disappointing points. The parking situation was strange with the QR code to pay? for such a vast area with a lot of parking. Additionally the breakfast for $14 seemed really sparse. Some premade potatoes and eggs and basically some continental breakfast quality food you get at most hotels for free.

I think it was okay overall. i’m just a very light sleeper & this was our vacation/ looking forward to sleeping in and we were woken up by the construction workers being so loud right outside our window.

Chose for the EV charging it claimed. Had none. Paid for parking during booking, had to pay again during check in after midnight trying to get children to bed. Housekeeping entered room with family sleeping at 8am!!?? Scaring and waking people.

We showed up to the hotel to be told we actually did not have a room. The hotel “cancelled with Expedia” so our problem is clearly with Expedia according to them but no one told us this. We’ve actually paid for a room that was never available. As we walked away without a room I still found five more rooms available on Expedia app for tonight. Hyatt Place Peña Statio. Clearly a Hyatt Place and Expedia problem and I’m the only one who gets the shaft, so to speak
