"BUGS everywhere in the rooms. Spiders, mosquitoes and flies galore. These rooms are outside facing so creepy critters find their way in! Cleaning services severely neglect removing dead insects from bathrooms, floors and ceilings. TV remotes did not work unless you stood directly in front of and a foot away from TV. A/C machine only had fan working with zero cooling. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE"

"The property is pretty and the staff members were polite. I didn't like the extra $200 charge that we had to pay, because we were within 50 miles of the hotel. (?). Hopefully, in a few days we will receive that money back. The pool is nice and good for kiddos. It's not very deep, and nice and warm. Altogether, it was a great stay at the hotel. Thank you!"

"The motel is definitely dated. Check in was fine. Upon arriving in room, the room appeared clean (but wasn't), beds looked very used and the pillows had seen much better days. I had a difficult time getting comfortable and sleeping because of the bed and pillows. The shower was awesome! The tub could use some non-skid adhesive. One ice machine in the building just off the lobby area. Went to use and had a 36 minute wait time (what?). The vending machine in the lobby was completely empty! On night two, at 12:45 a.m. we were awaken by knocking on the door, then the door opening! Thankfully, the "door block" was engaged and kept the intruder from opening the door more than a couple inches when I hollared. At check out, the day desk clerk determined it was the new night desk clerk and stated she would have a conversation with him. What reason did he have to come to my room and open the door!?! Our name was next to the room number with our departure date on the guest list. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all well for the remainder of the night. I hope to make better hotel accommodation decisions in the future..."
