Come experience your stay at Mountain Side Retreat, A secluded cozy cabin perfect for 4. When you walk in cabin we have a full stocked kitchen, a dining table, and a small deck with a table,seating arrangements and a grill. Then you’ll walk into the very spacious living room that that has a huge tv and fireplace and large windows that let in great suinlight throughout the day. When you walk down stairs you’ll walk into the game room which has a pool table and a full bathroom. Both the bedrooms are located downstairs also, both equipped with smart tv’s and a king size bed. The Master bedroom includes a full bathroom. Both bedroom doors lead out to the lower deck which has the perfect seating arrangement for 4, an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor tv. So come book your stay at Mountainside Retreat when you come to the Smokeys.

Great cabin!

My family and I loved staying at the Mountain Side Retreat. It was very clean and in a great location. We were about 10 mins. from Dollywood and 10-15 mins. from all of our favorite restaurants. We loved how the cabin was layed out and loved playing the shuffleboard table in the evenings. The area is very quiet, the only things you hear are animals and the Dollywood train horn if you're outside which was very enjoyable for us. I suggest this cabin for anyone who wants a peaceful escape that's still very close to everything. The host, Kishan is great! He is very friendly and if you ask him a question, he will answer immediately!

Beautiful little cabin but expectations came up short.

Check-in was a breeze and the cabin had what we needed. Even though the pool table and fire table on the back deck was not provided as advertised, the outdoor TV was used often. Several outlets in bathrooms were out and being addressed. We did lose hot water the last day of our trip . The owner was prompted in communication and would rent another cabin from them but maybe not this property again.

Nice cabin!

This was a very nice cabin, beautiful view and very cool design. We loved staying here and would come back.Great communication with host. Clean, comfortable, the grill outside is great. A lot of games, and some kitchen utensils. I suggest bringing yours if you plan to cook. My only comment is that there is no firepit outside and shown in some pictures, which was a bummer because we brought a lot of marshmallows to burn there!

First Spring Break

This was the first year one of our kids had spring break and was off from school for a week. We decided to drive down to Pigeon Forge for a nice week long trip with the kids. This cabin/house was the perfect reset needed from our busy lives in DC. The house was pretty much like seen in the pictures, only difference was the fire pit was missing on the back patio near the hot tub and the pool table was switched out with a shuffle board table. The house was clean and location was great! A quick drive to Dollywood, bird sanctuary, and all the other attractions in Pigeon Forge. The owner was responsive and even went out of their way to send a souvenir photo we had left in the cabin when we left. The hot tub was a great way to wind down after a long day of walking in Dollywood. The neighborhood was not to difficult to drive (we had a minivan) but about what you would expect for a mountain home. There is a gas station pretty close if you need last minute supplies. Great stay and would stay at this place again if we ever make it back to Tennessee.

Good get away spot

Overall, it was a really good stay. Property was clean and had a decent view. Was not the easiest to park in the spot, but not horrible. Location did not have pool table as advertised before our stay.

We Did Not Want to Leave!

The home was new, clean, cozy, and had that new home scent. Everything was all that we expected and more. Adults and kids absolutely enjoyed it. The kids especially loved the available Netflix and continued to watch the shows they enjoyed. We looked forward to retreating here after a long day of activities. We will be back!

Anniversary Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this mountain retreat! My husband and I needed a couple of days to get away and just rest and that’s exactly what we did. The property was beautiful and it was clean from top to bottom. It was incredibly easy to communicate with the owner and they did everything to make our check in and check out as easy as possible! We will definitely be coming back next year!

Beautiful cabin

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend while we were in town for a wedding. Wow!! It’s so beautiful and cozy! It’s decorated very cute and the hot tub was an amazing bonus!! We enjoyed the private deck area with the gas fire pit. Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again. The owner always messaged me right back and was very helpful with any questions I had.

Perfect Cabin

Our family of 4 spent a full week at this stunning cabin and we completely enjoyed our stay. The host was very attentive to any questions we had. The location of the cabin is conveniently located close to all activities we wanted to explore, yet it gave us the feeling of mountain exclusion with luxurious feel of our surroundings. As another guest suggested, it is recommended to arrive during the daylight and to take Mitchel Farm road as it can help to adjust to the mountain hill parking. The pictures of the cabin are exactly what you see. We would not hesitate to stay here again and we will treasure our family memories forever.

Beautiful Home!

We were very happy with this cabin for our Spring Break getaway. Pictures and description are accurate. The only suggestion I have for the owners is to install window coverings on the bedroom windows. Neighbors can easily see into them, especially at night. Otherwise, the home was perfect for our family. We would definitely stay again!

Dead bugs, Snakes, AND DIRTY LAUNDRY

If I could give a 0 I would. Rented this cabin for my mothers birthday get way. This is a very nice cabin but I warn you please check it before staying. We were in the cabin for not even 30 mins and we found dead bugs, left belongings from past guests, and a snake , yes a SNAKE. We are hours away from home and at 1 am we were struggling to find some where else to stay due to the snake. People in my party were terrified. Not only was our visit ruined we were accused of bringing the snake with us. Why would we travel with a snake and why would we subject ourselves to find new lodging to accommodate us at that hour. We ended up spending more money trying to find a hotel than we would have staying there. Afterwards the owner of the property became hostile towards us even though the issue was due to their incompetent cleaning staff. IM BERY DISAPPOINTED and shocked at the turn of events. We had people go into panic attacks due to fear. Never in my life have I experienced this and we go to cabins all the time. CHECK EVERYWHERE under beds, closets, and even flip your sheets back.

Hidden Gem

Had a wonderful February weekend in this new house! The photos are accurate, tho the neighbor's houses are more finished than they appear in the photos - all of the yards are still being finished, but it wasn't disruptive. This little neighborhood is in a small, quiet ravine. Take Mitchell Farm to get to the house, as you won't be able to make a left turn into the driveway otherwise. It's a very short driveway, but can't-see-over-your-hood steep. You should also arrive while it's light out, as it'd be easy to miss the driveway in the dark if you didn't know where it was. Lots of sunshine in the living room and on the upper deck, but plenty of shade on the lower deck if you prefer. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and plenty of towels were provided. Great new hot tub. Not a lot of space to walk the dog since the house is on a steep hill, but we managed well enough. The house is in a quiet rural location, but it's only 15 min to a grocery store in Sevierville, and also only 15 min from Pigeon Forge. The owner was super responsive. Overall, a great weekend - we would definitely stay there again!
