The low rating for the home is due to our experience with Beachwalk Vacation Rental agency. We arrived at the home we rented from Beachwalk Vacation only to find out it was under renovation and uninhabitable.This rental company did not communicate this with us. We called them and to their credit they found us a lovely home within 5 minutes. They said they would throw in a complimentary golfcart. Once the shock wore off we wondered and asked why they didn't let us know about the "under construction home". Don't they check on it to make sure all is good for the renter? The answer they gave was they didn't know! The home we ended up in was less expensive than the original home. However, Beachwalk Vacation refused over and over to credit us the difference due to a "fluctating" nightly rate. If a guest is moved to a lower price property due to management failure, the price should reflect that. Standard practice in hospitality! The lack of transparency and last minute scramble upon arrival due to Beachwalk, has left a very bad impression and we will not recommend them or use them again. Bait & switch??
