New York City does not like service dogs, and probably dogs of any kind. Hotels tgat charge $29. for a hamburger (with fries) need to have more amenities for people with service animals. To allow a service animal to accompany its client is a matter of law; to provide the most basic necessities for that service animal is a matter of human decency. A 4+ star hotel should understand that.

The only problem I had with this hotel was that at check-in, a black woman, a bit rude because I didn't want to pay for the upgrade she was offering, assigned me a room (1460) with a view that was worse than terrible. I immediately went down to the front desk to complain, and a very kind gentleman assisted me. He understood the situation and moved me to an excellent room (3509) with a partial view of Times Square.

The check-in receptionist is wonderful. The room isn’t clean. There are still leftovers food from the previous guest in the fridge. The bathroom sink has hair in the sink bowl. The property is in a perfect location though.
