The Hawaiian Monarch is a secured building that includes a spacious sun deck with grilling area, pool, and hot tub steps away from Waikiki’s shopping, restaurants, nightlife and activities. Take a short stroll to Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Center, and Hawaiian Convention Center.

This remodeled studio offers city views and sleeps 2. This unit is located on the 23rd floor. Elevators are available.

Worst hotel experience ever

Our stay was horrible. Our sheets weren’t fitted to the bed, so throughout the night we ended up on a dirty mattress. We had to stop in at target to get a new blanket because the main blanket they provided us, felt itchy and dirty. There was a dirty bin with a nappy on top under the bathroom sink before we came in. The room is filled with ants. They don’t do housekeeping and there was no extra rubbish bags for us.The aircon is mouldy and right on top of our heads by the bed. All dishes and cutlery was also dirty, we had to wash everything before we used it. Don’t budget and stay here. Overall our stay here was horrible. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

The place was wonderful. Super close to the beach, my boyfriend and I walked down for breakfast in Waikiki each day. It was very easy to check in as well. It said the parking was 40 a day on the listing and it ended up being 45 a day which was not a huge thing but just a slight price increase there. There were no beach towels, so pack those if staying here. We ended up buying some. And lastly, there was no mat to dry your feet on once out of the shower so we had to use the two towels provided for drying ourselves to dry the floor. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to someone wanting an affordable unit close to the beach when visiting Oahu.
