My husband and I enjoyed our stay overall. We loved the location because it was quiet and tucked away, yet still close to town, restaurants, shops, and the beach. The house was clean and nicely updated, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like games inside (Yahtzee) and outside (corn hole), as well as the fire pit. Another plus was that the house is dog friendly so we were able to bring our dog along for her very first beach trip. The main downside was the shower not draining properly. While the host did respond quickly and attempted to have it fixed, the issue wasn’t resolved during our stay, which meant we couldn’t use the shower normally. The host did provide a partial refund for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Overall, a great place with lots of positives, and we’d consider staying again.

Carlon is a great host, and this is a wonderful place to stay. Our dog loved the very spacious property outside, as did we. Inside, there was plenty of room for three of us (and the dog), and yet it had a warm, cozy feel. We did lots of cooking in the very modern kitchen (the appliances seemed brand new), and we barbecued on the outdoor grill as well. The location was convenient to town, but nestled in a wooded area which was quiet and beautiful. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The house was exceptionally clean with many small touches that made us feel comfortable and at home. We stayed for my husband’s 81st birthday and he has some mobility challenges and this home met our needs perfectly. He loved sitting on the deck watching the deer and we both loved the quiet location. Only negative is the WiFi and TV internet were sometimes a little hit and miss but I would stay again as the overall experience and setting exceeded my expectations.

The Grove was absolutely excellent. Super comfortable and in a nice quiet location. The house was spotless and really well equipped. Also a great outdoor space for relaxing. Carlin was also a great host and super responsive. I will definitely book again when I’m back on the North Coast!

Ft Bragg Stay at The Grove

The house was immaculate and everything worked perfectly. We enjoyed the deer that visited the property each day.Our daily walks included more deer sightings, a brown bear lumbering along from 100 yards away and even a docile skunk that strolled away harmlessly! The path along Pudding Creek Beach was amazing.This was a relaxing stay. We will return!

The grove

Very nice little house, great yard. We had a wonderful time. The only problems we had was our little dogs could find ways out of the yard and under the deck because of gaps, otherwise it was awesome.

Wonderful, inviting, clean, sweet little place. Lovely grounds, very private. Owner of property was there for a couple of days. Such a nice, friendly person. Will recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. So cozy!

The Grove

Everything was very nice. Beautiful trees around the place, quiet and wonderful deck to relax and soak up the sun. Great location.Only thing was hard to get comfy on the furniture in the living room. And the back mattress was not great comfort either. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay. My husband had to look on you tube to work the coffee pot. But it did make good coffee!

We had a great time staying at the Grove! The house itself was quaint and worked perfectly for two adults and two kids. For us, the main draw was the yard space and the inside/outside option with the bar was perfect. We also brought bikes and used them as our town transportation!

We had a fantastic stay at this property in Fort Bragg! The place was impeccably clean and wonderfully dog-friendly, which made our trip even more enjoyable. A Perfect Blend of History, Comfort, and Nature

Our stay at The Grove was nothing short of magical! This beautifully renovated 1917 home seamlessly blends historic charm with modern conveniences, making it an ideal getaway seeking a peaceful retreat.From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting. Nestled among the trees the property offers a sense of seclusion while still being just a short drive from downtown Fort Bragg. The fenced garden, firepit, and deck provided the perfect outdoor spaces to unwind and let the dogs run and have fun with all the new smells outside.Inside, the house is full of personality and thoughtful touches. The modern amenities like high-speed WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious shower ensure total comfort. We especially loved the cozy living room with its sectional sofa and the smart TV.Both bedrooms were inviting and comfortable, with charming decor. Waking up to the misty forest views was a dream. The breakfast nook with its raised window was another highlight. Breakfast was served out on the nook while enjoying the ray of sunshine and watching the dogs play in the yard.Exploring Fort Bragg was a delight, with its quaint shops, fantastic restaurants, and scenic trails (Glass Beach). The property manager (Carlon) was very attentive and helpful with providing prompt feedback. We will definitely stay here again.

Cute Home

Such a cute place. Great location close to the town and in the woods. Beautiful backyard location with huge trees. The home was so cozy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. Great communication from the property manager too.

Wonderful stay at The Grove!

We spent 4 nights at The Grove this past week celebrating my birthday and we had the best time! The property is absolutely gorgeous and just secluded enough to feel like you’re out in the middle of the redwoods, but still close enough to town for all of the conveniences Ft Bragg has to offer. The house was immaculate and provided all of the necessities you could possibly need during your stay. There were even individually wrapped toothbrushes and mini toothpastes in case you forgot one! The house was just the right size for 3 of us, and the beds were super comfortable too. We loved the outdoor area, and had the most gorgeous 70-75 degree weather during our stay. Carlon the property manager was very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was going well after we arrived. We had no complaints at all about our time at The Grove, and we will be looking forward to staying here again in the future!

My pup and I had a great time doing nothing but relax. I loved the inside of the home. It gave me great ideas for my own home. Very clean and well kept. Nice seeing the dear around the property. Although my pup Jazz had no idea of what it was. I hope to stay here again. Thank you so much.
