Crown plaza in Costa Mesa is our go to spot when we come to town every year for our anniversary. It’s clean, has a great pool/hot tub, the staff is extremely kind and accommodating. We love it!!

On 02/15/26 around night time, there was no running water in my room. I called the front desk and was told that other rooms were experiencing the same issue and they were working on it. This was a major inconvenience since water is a basic service expected in a hotel stay. Expedia contacted the property and they said basically I was lying.

The only issue I had with the hotel was the toilet. When I sat down, it was so low that I almost felt like I was sitting in the water. It was quite uncomfortable and could definitely be improved. But the lady that work with breakfast side she was very nice with most of the customers

The room was clean and the service provided from Alexander was above par as always he remembers our names and asked for our wives as well ! Desiree was also very helpful and attentive and the breakfast service from Ana, Robert & Florencio was superb and the food was excellent as well. Our South Gate High School coaching staff stay there every year for the Glazier clinic across the street and we cannot wait till we return next year ! Thank You
