Star Lake Fishing Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for a fun packed fishing experience with our son and grandson with a guide based on Star Lake. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, screened in porch, fire pit and dock were a bonus. Kim was great to work with, and we will be back next year.

Comfortable Stay!

We loved our stay at Lakefront Family Getaway! The place is very spacious and comfortable, and it's just a great space to hang out as a family. We also loved the views of the lake! This property is centrally located between several nearby communities, and there are plenty of hiking trails and other recreational activities in the area.

A Special Week for My Family at a Special Place

I loved the location of this VRBO: secluded, quiet, peaceful. My family enjoyed fishing on the Little Tamarac Flowage, shopping in Eagle River (20 minutes south), and going on walks through the woods. We left feeling relaxed and recharged. The house was clean, cozy, and simple. Loved the outdoor decor; it helped add to the stay, especially the Terry Redlin print above the mantle. This was the perfect-sized house. The land near the lakefront was open and spacious, ideal for running around and playing with the kids. The place was easy to find, with straightforward and not overly complex instructions for when leaving. We saw bald eagles not far from the pier, soaring around the trees. Deer were walking throughout the area. We even saw a porcupine, which was super cool! The host was always readily available if we needed anything. I've been coming up to northern Wisconsin for many years and have stayed at numerous places, and this one ranks among the best of them! I would highly recommend it to others and am looking forward to renting it again for ourselves!

Very nice place to stay . We loved it. Only thing missing was chairs for fire pit area. Internet connection was rough for t -mobile but for Verizon was good. Definitely rent it again .

Clean, quiet, roomy, and peaceful! Kitchen fully equipped! Plenty of wood for fire pit! Easy access to lake. Only complaint is they need a new grill. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Beautiful Tamarack Flowage

This was a lovely house (super clean with comfy beds and recliners) on a 200 acre flowage that was teaming with wildlife (loons, herons, eagles, sandhill cranes, ducks and geese). We brought our kayaks and enjoyed exploring the other areas that were accessible from the flowage. It was quiet with very little lake traffic, and the water was super clean. The property has a great view and the screened porch was a great place to enjoy the waterfront. We often had the flowage to ourselves, and the loons swam right by our kayaks. We will be coming back in the fall- this is a great property!

Northwoods Fun & Relaxation

We had a wonderful time at our stay here. Communication with the property manager was great. When we had questions, she responded quickly. She was very accommodating when we requested an early check-in and late check-out, which we appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc. The screened back porch was a great place to hang out and the view the beautiful lake. Perfect northwoods get-away to enjoy time with friends.

Tamarack Flowage Property

Great house and located on nice piece of property. Deck on rear of house is screened in and great for sitting out at night. Garage is an awesome option and was able to park my boat inside.
