Nice hotel, with just a few suggestions.
The hotel is cute and up-to-date. I checked in on a Tuesday, and would have loved to stay in the hotel for dinner, but the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. There was no option for room service. The room had no desk, so it was difficult using my laptop. I was there for 2 nights, and there was no stay-over cleaning service. I don’t mind since I was alone, but I thought hotels were going back to that service. I wanted a room with a view of the river. My room was looking at a swampy off-chute of the river. The other end of the hotel would have had a better view, but I wanted 2 beds, so I suppose that limited it. The negative comments were just an FYI —the hotel was really very nice. The breakfast was better than a lot of hotels.

As a tea drinker, I so appreciate that the hotel had a separate carafe for hot water rather than an airpot used both for coffee and hot water, which always tastes like coffee. I was also very happy to see unflavored black tea offered. Too often there are only herbal or odd varieties available. The breakfast area is lovely, with large windows overlooking the river, and kept very tidy. My hotel room was spotless and comfortable. I especially appreciated the comfy chair with an overhead reading light, which is rare in hotel rooms. I have already recommended the Waterfront Hotel to family traveling in the area. My only complaint is that recycling bins were not available.
