The group I was with utilized the spa, which was nice to have on site. The front check in desk the lady was not helpful or informative. We had to ask the very nice girl at the coffee shop where to find our rooms.

The lady at the front desk wasn’t friendly, I felt she was bothered when I was asking her questions. The main entrance was remodeled so that looked really nice, but once I got down to the spa area I was extremely disappointed. The changing/ locker room were sooo out dated and extremely small. This area is in desperate need of a facelift. The amenities, pool/steam room/sauna were not connected to the spa area either. On a positive note, Our massages were really good and the ladies were really nice. Overall of the facility, we were really disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback, I am deeply sorry that your experience with us was less than satisfactory. The Ridge strives to provide the best service possible and therefore we are continuously working hard to improve our overall guest satisfaction. We will address this internally.

My room was perfect .. the hotel was really nice.. I’m just upset that I paid over $400 for 48hours there and had to literally beg for hours to have my room cleaned .. room service never came to change my sheets or provide clean towels .. they knocked on my door at 10pm with towels .. after calling the front desk 4-5 times within 6hours .. we even left the room to go to dinner .. came back and the room was still not clean .. that really left a bad taste in my mouth

honeymoon

Pros: Food was really, really good, the view of the lake was beautiful.
Cons: the outside of the hotel looks dated, but still looks nice.
Location: Lake Geneva WI, a lot of things to do, we went for the live music shopping.
Very Nice accommodating hotel, description of rooms were confusing. The hotel in on a lake, so I assumed resort side view meant a view of the lake, but it was actaully of the parking lot, which was no big problem. Once I mentioned it to the manager he switched us to a room with a view with no extra cost!

Ehh...

They charge $12 a day for resort fee but everything is shut down by 7pm when they say it's open until 11pm. The outside bar and pool close before dusk, shut off the firepit, and drinks are overpriced. The indoor bar is open until 11 but the dining room closed at 7pm multiple nights we were there. The staff didn't seem to care by any means we will never go back to this hotel.

Loved this place!

We stayed from Sunday until Tuesday & had a great time. The hotel has a great view & we loved the outdoor bar & firepit. Upon check-in I asked if we were given a lake view room & was told we weren't. I told them my reservation says lake view & they switched us to a lake view room. We had a nice room!  We golfed, which was awesome!  The hunt club restaurant was top notch! Great food & service!!  We will return!!

WORST SPA EXPERIENCE

This was the worse experience at a spa. It was the complete opposite of relaxation. The receptionist was snotty and unorganized. The spa itself makes you feel like you're in a dungeon. My massage felt more like someone trying to start my body on fire by rubbing their hands on my back as fast as possible until the lotion started to heat by back. The pedicure basins were filled with cold water, or at least it was cold by the time my friend and I arrived to our pedicures. I paid twice as much for this pedicure as I would at another salon and I received less than a 1/4 of the services as normal. The only service that wasn't unsatisfactory was the facial. It took over 40 minutes for my friend and I to check out for our packages and additional time to correct the 46 dollar overcharge fee added to her bill. This was the worst $250 spent on a spa package. I even wrote a letter to the general manager expressing how displeased we were with our day - no response - seems to be a great service recovery process in place. There are plenty of spas in Lake Geneva - don't waste your time researching this one!

Clean facilities, polite staff - but needs some spit and polish

Pros: Quiet
Cons: no breakfast
It's a nice hotel, about 10 minutes outside of downtown Lake Geneva. Easy to find, good parking, quiet area. An expansion of the pool area was under way during my stay, and there were planned activities for guests on Saturday night, including a bonfire party. The place needs some paint however, and other minor upkeep issues prevent a higher rating. Amongst the better points are the staff, who were polite and helpful in every respect. I do suggest that you BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW... unless you like thick, squarish, rather hard pillows.

Recent Wedding

I had my wedding at The Lodge of Geneva Ridge on December 31st. It couldn't have gone better! The staff is amazing, especially the Banquet Manager! The food for the Reception dinner was amazing. I am still hearing great things about the food from our guests. They catered to my every need, which can not be easy when you are the bride. The guest rooms are great. We had about 40 guests rooms and every guest enjoyed their stay and loved the rooms. They are clean and well layed out. My parents had the biggets suite and we had our Rehersal dinner there and it was perfect!!! Large counter, full size fridge worked out perfectly. I am so glad this was the place we picked. The lodge was decorated beautifully for the Holiday Season and fit so well with the Wedding! Couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding!
