When booking at the Grand geneva resort and Spa, I read the reviews and was very skeptical but booked it anyway.... I must say everyone has their own taste in decor and their own taste buds. With that being said, I enjoyed my stay here, the food at Brissago and Chop house was excellent, I would like to thank my waiter at Chop House for making special accommodations for me to take my dessert to go taking sliverware and dinnerware out of the restaurant. The mac and cheese with lobster tail which was recommended to me by Lucas at the front desk was amazing! Everyone at the hotel was very nice and accommodating. The decor is very simple and clean, as long as you can sleep thats all that matters. I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and I and it was awesome! What I really enjoyed and appreciated was that everything was in the resort. The spa is within the lot, you can call the trolley at the hotel and they will take you there. Im so looking forward to coming back in the summer for my daughters birthday.

Unfortunately, we were assigned a room next to a family with a dog that barked from the time we arrived at 3 pm until about 6 o’clock in the morning. We were told they would rectify the issue but unfortunately the dog barked all night and the hotel never moved the family to the designated dog area. I would think when you pay $350 a night you would be allowed a descent night sleep. I guess not. We were offered breakfast but that is not going to make up for our the issue. This is unacceptable in my book.

You are correct, you definitely deserved a great night of sleep. We are so sorry that didn't happen during your recent experience. We are dog friendly, but only do allow them in certain areas of the resort as long as we are aware that guests are traveling with a dog. We are so sorry we could not resolve the issue to your satisfaction during your stay, but if there is anything further we can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Staff was exceptional. Even though I had made my pool reservations which were confirmed by email, when we went to the pool, we were not on the list. Disappointed many guests did not social distance or wear masks. Would be nice if bars and restaurants were open a little later at night to the guests. In spite of the corona virus, it was nice and relaxing to get away. Would definitely come here again.

The stay was for myself, husband and 3-14 yr olds. Our room was located in building 1.The hallways there had a stale smell. There was a sticker on the door that stated the room had been sanitized. Perfect right? Upon entering the room,it had the same stale smell as the hallways. The room itself is outdated. I booked a King suite with a queen sofa bed. There was a twin sofa bed in the room.My first disappointment.Went to call front desk and both phones did not work.Completely dead. No dial tone or anything. The lamp in the bedroom had a non-working bulb. The sliding doors in the bedroom had cobwebs under the curtains and when I opened them there were spiders. Definately had not been cleaned.Bathtub was a jacuzzi tub but the actual jets were stained brown.Called from my cell phone, engineer cam to fix phones and replace the light bulb.Fine.Next day the phones didn't work, again. Called the front desk, complained. Was told a manager would call me back..Mgr never called. I called to request extra towels and spoke to a manager who apologized and offered $50 food voucher for the restaurant in the resort. She said she could not offer a monetary refund because I had booked through Travelocity and not direct. For the price they charge (roughly $315-$370/night) they can do much better. The food was not good either.I would never plan on staying here again.Very dissapointing to say the least.

It was misleading. We thought the water park tickets were included and they were an additional 30.00 per person per day. Not worth it at all

We are very sorry for any confusion during the booking process. We do offer a waterpark package that includes passes or if you stay at our sister hotel, Timber Ridge, then passes are included in your stay. At Grand Geneva, we are thrilled to offer the waterpark as an amenity (and additional fee) for all of our guests like we offer for a golf round or a spa service as well. If there is anything we can do to make things more clear for other guests, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know. Transparency and communication are so important to all of us at Grand Geneva. Regards, Guest Relations

Holiday weekend. Sunday. Ski lines were really long. They should have ski patrol make everyone double up lifts. Instead there were singles and empty seats going up. Pool jam packed. On Monday, everything was empty.

Was looking forward to a week of some R&R at this hotel for a first time stay. There was nothing relaxing about my stay. The 1st room they put me in (Jr Suite) the freezer part of the mini fridge was frozen over. When trying to watch a movie the internet kept going out so you could never finish a movie. The toilet took a long time to flush, and there were stains on the carpet and couch. The bed and bedding was the only thing nice about the room. They switched out the fridge and after trying for quite awhile to fix the internet they weren’t able to. So now I have to pack everything up to move to another room. I had a lot of stuff/food/drinks because I was staying a week so moving to another room was a big inconvenience. Now to the 2nd room-I noticed a gassy smell from the fireplace. Didn’t feel like moving again so just went with it. I also noticed the toilet was crooked and it appeared to leak. Technicians came to the room to fix the internet problem that was also in this room! When they arrived they noticed the strong smell of gas and after waiting a couple hours to fix it they said I can’t use the fireplace! The fireplace was one of the reasons I came to this hotel and the fact the room is over $200 a night I was really upset. So I had to move rooms again!! They made sure in the 3rd room that everything worked before I got there, and I wondered why they don’t do that before all arrivals? They comped me $100 of hotel fees-small credit when the total of my stay was over $2k!
