Cozy country home in a remote area.

The perfect escape. This lovely home is located at the end of a private road by the lake. It’s a perfect escape for an adventurous family and friends who need to escape the hustle and bustle and can appreciate a remote location where they can unwind and reset. This private, fully stocked charming home has two bedrooms upstairs, a game room downstairs with a pool table, kayak and life jackets. We enjoy sitting out on the patio, taking the beautiful sunsets and fishing from the dock. Please be advised, there is no place to park a boat.

Lake front getaway

Property is as advertised. Beautiful and spacious lake house with a private dock. Its very secluded and tucked away home on the peninsula just adjacent to Clear Lake park. Incredible views from the property as well as the approach. During our stay we had an issue with the heating system, but the fireplace worked well. Communication with management was painless. Just a heads up, and we were made aware after booking, the drive way is very steep. If your loaded down I'd suggest a 4wd/Awd vehicle. A light sedan or compact would likely be fine. Id taken my full size with 2 motorcycles in the bedgear and slipped a few times due to some debris on the drive and damp conditions. FYI. Overall wonderful stay. Will likely book again.

Problem

The house is beautifully located on a hill above the lake. It is also located within 20' of the neighbor's open horse stable. There are many flies and bugs around the front entrance. The smell from the stable precludes opening windows along this side of the house.
