We love Juniper & Oak!! This was our first family trip since my siblings & I were kids & we’re now grown with families of our own. It was an absolutely fantastic experience all around. There were 15 of us & we fit comfortably with room to spread out. The house is truly beautiful with all of its history & charm & it has basically everything you need! Bring personal items & groceries & that’s pretty much it. Juniper & Oak had it all. To name a few: kitchen supplies, ice trays, filtered water, shampoo & conditioner, epsom salt for a relaxing bath, so many toys, guitars, lounge chairs, lake towels, fans, water toys, playing cards & games & even a supply of toiletries & things you may have forgotten for a cash donation. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, being out in the yard & adventuring over to the Tiki Beach. We encountered only a few, somewhat minor issues during our stay. Probably the biggest one is the road that separates the house from the water. With little ones running around we had to keep a very close eye out to make sure they could cross safely. Cars really come flying down that road, so it’s a little nerve-wracking. Depending on your personal preference, some of the beds were quite hard & uncomfortable. I’d say about half of us complained & the rest of us were comfortable. I think one of the rooms upstairs, on the carpeted side, didn’t have any working lights. Overall, an incredible house and we’re all eternally grateful for the memories you helped us create! Thank you.
