This spacious South Congress home offers a private oasis in the heart of Austin’s most popular destinations! You’ll enjoy short walks and e-scooter rides to the iconic "I love you so much" mural at Jo's Coffee, the legendary Continental Club, and countless eclectic shops and restaurants!

Home chefs will enjoy whipping up a memorable meal in the gourmet kitchen or on the gas grill out back! An open living/dining area features a dining table for 8 and a large, flat screen TV. Head out the French doors to find a fenced-in backyard with a covered deck, outdoor seating, and ceiling fan perfect for entertaining guests throughout your stay!

The upstairs living room has a Sofa Bed and a second flat screen TV. The Master is fitted with a new King size bed and includes a Master bath with separate shower and bathtub. Bedrooms Two and Three share a full bath and are fitted with 2 Twin beds and a Queen size bed respectively. A laundry room with washer and dryer is included.

This is the perfect home for groups coming in town for SXSW and the Austin City Limits music festival as it's only a 15 min walk to the festival gates at Zilker Park. You can leave all the parking hassles behind! The home’s exceptional location also favors a night out on 6th Street, which is only a 5 min ride away. A public park with walking trails and playground are just a short stroll away. One mile from the Congress Ave bat bridge and Downtown.

Great location!

This is a great place to stay especially if you want to enjoy the South Congress area. The house has plenty of room for a group and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Also was surprised by how quiet the neighborhood is. The beds were comfortable and the two seating areas patio are great.

Perfect Austin Weekend

Very comfortable and well appointed house. Quiet neighborhood but mere blocks from shopping, bars, icecream!! We enjoyed spending time on outdoor patio and appreciated there was coffee available for our first morning!

4.5 stars Great spot, very heavily used, not for cooks

I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could. The location is great. The floor plan of the house is very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The property management was very responsive. That said, here’s why it wasn’t a five star for me (to me 5 stars is no notes) 1. There’s a lot of extra admin outside the VRBO app, extra forms, uploading ID, etc. Also, on the paperwork through that company it reflected our rate was higher for “extra people” which is off putting given we had 6 people for a 3 bedroom house.2. You can tell this place is used heavily- it could use a break from rotation to get more mugs (there weren’t enough for everyone), have some paint touched up, new blinds put in, etc. 3. When we got there, there were only the bare minimum number of towels. We found the rest in the dryer, but I’d expect either a note from property mgmt in advance or for them to be folded and back in cabinets. Likely the cleaning folks were rushed when they turned it around.4.Two different people unfolded bath towels and found hair balls stick to them. I know this is a thing that happens, it happens to me at home, but it’s off putting when it’s not your hair. 5.The dining table is uncomfortable especially if you have 6 people and two need to use the backless stools.

Great Austin location and perfect property

Comfortable home close to S. Congress

This was a terrific base for our family's visit to Austin for the F1 races. The home is lovely, just as described and shown in photos (except leather couch has been well loved). It's just a few minutes easy walk to S. Congress for great options for morning coffee, restaurants and shopping. Even with that easy access, the neighborhood itself is a quiet area of beautiful homes. Would definitely stay again!

LOOK NO FURTHER! This is the place. In a quiet neighborhood yet only a few blocks from the action. Great, comfortable home. I could live in this house! Our host, Jeff, was the best, with tips on nearby hot spots. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for our entire adult family to use for a base for a wedding on South Congress. The house is perfectly located just far enough off Congress to avoid noise but very close. The house itself has many very high end architectural features and was very pleasant on all fronts

Location, location, location

When they say this property is close to SoCo- it is CLOSE. We barely got in our car the entire week. There was so much to walk to, see and do. The neighborhood is charming and quiet, a great place to visit with kids. The property itself was as described. And despite the requirement to park on the street, the very friendly neighbor emerged as soon as we checked in to offer us a driveway spot. Minor nits: we had booked this property for Thanksgiving and intended to cook but found the kitchen gear less than the "gourmet kitchen" description in the listing. The knives were dull, and there was little in the way of equipment (blender, food processor, etc). Perfect, though for simple meals. We ended up eating out for Thanksgiving which saved us time anyway. When we arrived, I searched my email for "VRBO" and instructions to check-in. Not finding any, I emailed the host. They responded in minutes. Their name is "Guest Spaces," and the email does not reference VRBO so you need to search for an email with that name.

Wonderful House and a Short Walk from Everything

We walked all over Austin from this location and always returned to a cool and comfortable house. I forgot my prescription glasses out the house and they have been slow to respond in getting them returned, but that is my fault more than anyone's. Shouldn't have left them! The house could also use some board games and the TV channels are limited, but we were there for Austin and not the TV. Great, clean and charming!

Great house, Great location

Clean, spacious house on a quiet, tree-lined street only 2 blocks away from one of the best neighborhoods in Austin. Plenty of spots nearby for breakfast in the morning, and the Continental Club was open until 2am for live music every night. Excellent spot for housing 5 friends.
