"Great hotel but the pool was incredibly cold. For the money they charge you would think it would be heated. The jacuzzi had no jets either so it was very disappointing"

9/10 Wonderful! (2,080 reviews)

"I cannot believe this hotel was given 4⭐️. It was disgusting and looked like a run down motel that got painted. The furniture in my room smelled like urine. I don’t understand the ratings it’s received."

"Great location, was able to get around without a car. Able to walk around safely by myself even at night. Property is dated but comfortable. Breakfast was literally grab and go."

"The staff was very kind and professional. They spoke whenever they saw us and always checked to make sure things were okay. This was our first visit to Austin! Whenever I stay at a hotel, I'm cleaning anyway, however, some things in the bathroom needed some attention;other than this-no issues. We didn't partake in the breakfast. Jessi, Diamond, and there was another young lady that was the best. For Embassy's benefit, she worked the same shift as Diamond."

"I began staying here several years ago and continue to do so every time I'm in Austin. Very comfortable and free parking and a free breakfast are an added plus! Love the pool and the music themed vibe. The staff are always very cordial and helpful. This is vintage Austin."
