You're not assigned a specific apartment until a few days prior to your arrival. We've found that some units are less desirable in terms of quality of bed and bedding, AC controls, and general floor layout. For some reason, they appear to ration towels, to the point where there are only one hand towel in the bathroom and no washcloth. Go figure.
While they say the unit is available for a 4:00 p.m. check in, we had to wait close to an hour longer to access it. This after contacting the remote agency multiple times and also trying to track down the cleaning service staff through the building manager. Ironically, starting the night before your departure date, they send checkout reminders asking for your anticipated checkout time, encouraging you to checkout early, and emphasizing additional financial charges for lingering beyond 11:00 a.m.
If you have any issues, be prepared for tortured communication with the remote property management agency, who clearly don't have any sense of the properties they manage. When as a courtesy after checking out, we tried to point out how the flow restrictor in the shower was barely letting any water through, they asked us to send a photograph!
