Room is roughly 10x30 ft. In order to make such a small space functional, the bed folds. When the bed is unfolded and in sleepsnlr position, there is roughly 2 ft to walk between the wall and bed. There are no overhead lights which makes the room feel small and dark.

After driving eight hours to Washington, I was looking forward to relaxing at the hotel. Check-in itself went smoothly, but the lobby was extremely crowded with people in swimsuits, smoking, drinking, and laughing loudly. We were told there was a private pool party that would be over by 9 p.m. Unfortunately, the noise continued well into the night. At around 3 a.m., I had to call the reception to complain. I was told that this kind of disturbance had been happening for a while, which was very disappointing to hear. The next day, we checked out without being able to enjoy the pool or get much rest. I cannot recommend this hotel, especially when private events like this are held without proper consideration for other guests.

This was the firts time for my familly and I to visit Washington DC, we got this hotel because the nice pictures they added on their web site, but this is far from the true, THe garage had a funky and desgasting odor The room was clean and they clean every day The pool was no clean, I didn't like hotel allow walking people to their pool and they have a pool party during the weekend, the hotel rented the pool to ousiders, they were noyce and it was clear the they smoke weed during, I asked about when the party will end, they stated at 10:00PM On Sunday the music was going on after 10:00PM, we couldn't sleep at all, becouse after the party around 11:00PM we hair a few gun shoots, immidiately the policed arrived to this hotel and stay they for hours. We check out next day before hour check out plans, becouse we found out that someone shoot and kill a man in the front of the hotel, we didn't fell safe at all

Not so good. With all the additional charges. Such as an extra $5 for poached or fried eggs at the buffet. Paid $55 for earlier check out than 4, as well as additional for later check out @12. Definitely nowhere near as good as I remember. Sorry

By far this hotel is the best if you want to be right next to the Capital building and the National mall. Its so convenient to get to the union station to catch the big bus tour or trains. Since its close to the capital building there is security 24/7/365 which makes it quite safe. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly and was happy to help whenever you had any questions The only thing i didn’t like was the big crowds at the hotel. The hotel gets very busy during the weekends with the roof top pool parties which makes the lobby area, elevators and outside hotel extremely busy. I prefer things nice and quiet so it was a bit difficult for me. But if you like to feel like you are at a beach side resort in mexico or the Caribbean then this is the place for you..

I booked this hotel for the one purpose of using the pool amenities but could not use due to party that was charging over $30 to get access nor was I informed of this after i checked in. Access was free before 5pm but noone said anything when i arrived after 430pm. Bathtub had chipped surfaces. The worst part they did not have washcloths or hand towels so you better bring your own!!! Nice room with no microwave, but Never again for me!

I booked Yotel DC expecting a modern, comfortable stay in a prime location. While the room itself was decent, my overall experience was overshadowed by several issues. First, I encountered a few bugs in the room, which is never something you want to deal with during a hotel stay. More concerning was the environment during my visit. There was a large, very intoxicated crowd at the pool area, accompanied by a noticeable police presence. At one point, a visibly drunk woman was acting extremely erratic, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for other guests. Given the location, I expected a higher standard of clientele and better control over events, particularly when alcohol is involved. The scene at the pool felt more like an unruly party than a relaxing hotel amenity, and it’s enough to make me reconsider staying here again.

Mice!!

Yotel had absolutely not met our expectations. Firstly, other than two bath towels, hand towels and washcloths were not provided. When I requested them I was told they were phased out. The worst part is, the kitchen is infested with mice! We saw one shoot across the dining room and were told they have been an ongoing problem. I asked if they were in the kitchen, the server responded yes! The service fees and taxes were outrageous. The restaurant needs to be shut down and exterminated.
