Most worst hotel stay ever!!!!!

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: n/a
My experience was the worst ever. The hotel put me and my children out stating we made too much noise, which was not true. I really wish that I could get my money back, I feel mistreated and like my money was wasted.

Rooms could use an upgrade on the decorative front. Clean. Great buffet breakfast and managers reception. You do have to lay $50 a night for valet parking your vehicle even if you don't use it. That adds up and trumps any savings.

Nice hotel close to everything

Great hotel for a family trip. Kids slept on the pull-out couch and we slept in the bed. The extra space really helped with 4 people staying for 5 nights. The breakfast buffet was excellent each morning!

Nice Place

Since it was -10 degrees all 4 days we were there, had to take taxi's everywhere. Hotel's awesome, comfortable. Taxi's are gross, smelly, and it's like calling for help at AT&T - NOBODY speaks understandable English.

Disappointing stay

This is definitely not what we were expecting from this hotel. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites in different states and even another Embassy in Washington DC, at a different location, and never did I have such a terrible experience before. When we arrived at the hotel, a very rude valet attendant greeted us, we asked where the parking lot was as we were NOT aware that this particular location did not have a self parking option- OMMITED, BTW, ON TRAVELOCITY'S SITE when we made the reservation! We were then informed by the rude attendant, that the ONLY option was valet parking and it would cost a whooping $56.00 per night, and the car had to be out of the lot before 1.00 p.m. the next day, WTH!?!?! We declined the option and left to look for alternate parking, not before being told by the rude attendant "this is DC, what do you expect, everything is expensive here", went to the parking lot on 11th street where we could store our car for our entire stay for $20 per day ($60.00 for our entire stay) We had another shock when we got to the very small room assigned to us, the room was old, grimy, with stained and worn looking furniture, stained carpets, and peeling wall paper, with an accessible bathroom, which I did not request, where water went everywhere on the bathroom floor! Definitely not worth the nearly $200 we paid per night. Breakfast is the same everyday and the choices are VERY limited. Overall a terrible hotel choice. I would not recomend it to anyone!

Great Hilton Property!

Check in and check out went smoothly. The room was fine. Loved the breakfast each morning and visited the bar area twice. My only complaint was the valet parking fee. I do not agree with a parking fee for overnight guests at any hotel.

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Convenient, clean, great breakfast and happy hour. Great staff.
Cons: Our room was next to elevator shaft. Very noisy. For upgraded room you should not have to listen to elevator all night.
Location: Close to convention center and a short 15 min walk to Capitol area.

CONFIRMED, PAID room NOT available!

Pros: Very nice hotel. Friendly staff.
Cons: Honor your commitments. My loyalty program is named HILTON HHONORS... seems to be a misnomer in this case.
Location: Convention center, shopping, restaurants.
Confirmed for late arrival, fully paid reservation was given to another traveler. I was placed in another hotel and had to transfer the next day. This was extremely disruptive to a tight schedule. The score of 1 given to Overall Rating and Hotel Staff is reflective of the hotel management that made the decision to not honor my fully paid, guaranteed for late arrival, confirmed reservation. I was very disappointed in management philosophy that led to this decision. Had I not arrived at my hotel that night, they were guaranteed payment of that room for that night, by me, and paid again by another traveler. This practice is dishonest, and makes me rethink my options when it comes to staying at Hilton properties in the future.
