"We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham. The restaurant and trolley discount came in handy for our group. The hotel was conveniently located to all the action and we found it easy to walk wherever we needed to be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here. We were traveling with a group of 20 so we had several rooms booked - everyone was happy."

"Good hotel, clean and includes breakfast as well as cocktail hour. A bit of a walk to the French Quarter, due doable. Missing towels day 2, but otherwise great! Love the suite portion of having a room with pull out sofa (for the kids)."

"Checked in on March 7, 2026 around 6 PM and the experience was disappointing from the start. The valet staff were rude—one of the first things I was asked was, “Why are you looking at me that way?” I also waited nearly 30 minutes for my vehicle, which almost made me miss an alumni event. The front desk interaction was equally unwelcoming. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and the instructions were delivered in a very impersonal manner. Unfortunately, the issues continued in the room. It had a strong pesticide-like smell, and when I requested a room refresh the next day, it was not addressed—trash was left overflowing. Overall, the service and attention to basic guest comfort fell well below expectations."

"The property is real outdated. It smelled old but the room was clean. It had this creepy picture above the bed while the walls were made of brick. I did not like this hotel at all. I left and reserved another hotel. "
