A truly exceptional hotel. I was here on business and Rudi was so thoughtful to relocate my room to be away from the wedding parties starting in the hotel. I will certainly return.

Not worth the cost

With this supposedly being a high end hotel, you shouldn’t have to be nickel and dimed for every little thing you want to do. It doesn’t matter what t is, you have to pay extra for it. Five star hotels normally offer an abundance of complimentary features for staying at the hotel. Not Chase Park, they are solely there to suck every dollar out of you.

Nicest staff ever.

Pros: the room, the staff, the food, the view, everything
Cons: have a car to take us places
Location: art museum and history museum my favorites
Everyone was very helpful, and we felt like the staff members were out friends.

Classic Comfort

Pros: The quietness was far better than average (although note the loud music). The suite was large for the price. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: Needs to be looked at a bit with a critical eye: safety handle in tub, better drapes, matched hangers, etc. Staff did not receive room upgrade request
Location: World Chess Hall of Fame, good choice of restaurants around corner, good chocolatier, walk to large park, close to huge Basilica with exotic mosaics.
This large, comfortable hotel is a 4 star level attraction. We ate frequently there for breakfast—excellent quality food and great selection with the buffet. Overpriced as most hotels are, but had many enjoyable meals. There is even a cinema attached that can be reached through the ground floor and shows first run films. The room was wonderful, especially for the price. Very sound-proofed, with one exception. There was live music on Friday and Saturday nights until midnight, and even on the sixth floor we could hear it as though it was next door—and this was with our windows closed. We chose a small suite and the sitting area, with a sofa and 4 large chairs, was very adequate for our needs. There were TVs in both the bedroom and the living area. There was an excellent work desk that we used a lot during our stay. The air conditioning, whether for heat or cold (and we needed both during our stay) worked quietly and very well. There were adequate closets and drawers, lots of hangers, even a safe in the closet for valuables. A paper was delivered every day but Sunday to our door. The neighborhood is safe, with charming restaurants and even a small museum just a block away around the corner. The parking is expensive and especially so for short term visitors (we had guests for breakfast two days). The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows, all of the lights worked, the bathtub needs a safety grip which is common on most hotels of this class. The sink was slow to drain.

Pros: Good location near to restaurants etc. Short cab ride to stadiums.
Great hotel. Nice bar, outdoor pool not in season but huge fireplace provided a great night outside in good November weather.

Outstanding hotel, staff, facilities.

Pros: Loved the accessibility to Forest Park, dining, etc. Lovely location!
Cons: I thought that used empty coffee cups, glasses, etc. in the room would have been removed and replaced when the room was cleaned. Very disappointing.
Location: Was there for a class reunion, so spent little time at the hotel.
Had a three-night stay. Everything was great! Staff was especially helpful. Room was upgraded when a feather-free room was not ready when I arrived. The Eau Grille was especially inviting!

It was way too loud. The pool looks bigger on the picture than what it really is.

Terrible Hotel

Pros: It was a total turn off due to the experience of the housekeeping staff.
Cons: Hire a new crew of housekeeping and employees that can speak and understand English.
Location: It was such a terrible experience that I can't say anything nice at all.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The shower had mold in it and was not caulked correctly. There was no plug in the sink to hold the water. Housekeeping never came to our room except on the last night to make it up. So we never had any clean towels delivered to our room along with other items. Housekeeping could not understand the language English! And the only reason they came to our room was because my husband made an appointment with the manager of the hotel to complain. I would never stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend to others to not do so. We travel a lot and I have never ever not had our room made up. I would rate this on the negative side.
