Great stay and a fun unique hotel.
Wonderful hotel! Great and unique theming, great rooftop lounge, great value. Good restaurant. Steps from an indoor mini-golf place and a bowling alley. Close to Forest Park and Washington University. Will stay there again. 100% positive.

Underwhelming
The hotel is cute and the theme is carried through out. Our room had a couple issues but not enough for us to request to move. The chaise had stains, possibly marker or hair dye. The shower was very small, maybe 4' square. with a split door it was difficult for a larger man to get in and out of the shower. The rooftop bar is supposed to be their "it factor", but we found it underwhelming. It smelled strongly of marijuana and the patrons were extremely loud. It wasn't the vibe we were looking for on a romantic weekend. Overall, it was a nice hotel but I wouldn't make a point of coming back.

Staff was absolutely fantastic. We had a great time. The hotel was decorated very tastefully, the bed was very comfortable. It felt like a luxury Hotel. We felt as if we were in a very luxurious setting. The roof top bar was fantastic. We will be back!

Friendly & clean but bed are meh
Super friendly staff and a really cool vibe in the hotel. Everything was nice and clean & the rooftop bar is really cool. The beds and pillows could use some upgrading. They were not very comfortable and none of us slept well as a result. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay!

I know the hotel is situated in the entertainment district so late night noise from other guests was not surprising. I was glad there was an EV charger but parking elsewhere (after the 3 hour charge limit) was difficult to find. One valet gentleman was not that helpful but I was lucky to have parking at the last minute. The room seemed clean but the dreary colors always makes one wonder. All staff were polite and bartender and kitchen staff were very helpful.

Very pleasant surprise. Didn’t know what to expect as unaffiliated with a major brand. But it was excellent. Location adjacent to Washington U. and Forest Park. Lot’s of young people/students on the street and nearby cafes.

I love seeing shows at The Pageant so the convenience of this hotel is ideal. I have stayed at least 50 times over the years. This started in 2009. I am leaving this morning knowing I will never stay again. There have been literally zero updates over the years. I booked the suite last night and the wall air conditioner shook the walls and sounded like a fighter jet every 15 minutes all night long. Miserable. The suite was dirty and the wall AC unit actually blew dust into the air. Only one elevator is in operation and the rooftop bar was closed. There are so many better options in St. Louis.

The property itself is wonderful. The night staff that checked us in were amazing. We were scheduled to stay for 2 nights because our air conditioning is out. We ended up leaving after one night because one of my dogs got sick. I didn’t feel comfortable asking for assistance and staying further because the morning front desk associate told me that my dog was aggressive and he wasn’t comfortable with her. She did not growl, show teeth, or lunge at anyone. She was barking. I called before we showed up to express that I had 2 German shepherds and make sure that was fine. We explained that they are sweet girls but barkers and upon check in were told that not only was it okay, but normal for their dog friendly hotel. I explained this to the AM desk clerk and he rolled his eyes while overly sarcastically saying “okay”. Had this interaction not happened, when my dog got sick I would’ve called to ask for cleaning supplies, cleaned what I could on my own, and paid plenty extra in fees or tips to the employees that helped us. But after that interaction I absolutely did not feel comfortable asking for anything. If my dogs had been labs or a smaller breed, I’m sure the barking wouldn’t have been an issue.

This hotel was so unique. Very clean and staff were very helpful. We appreciated the attention to the small details. The only complaint we had was the chaise lounge had a stain that resembled human secretions. I was able to clean it away so I feel that someone else should have seen it. Other than that the stay was wonderful. We will definitely stay again.

We absolutely love the moonrise, we go to alot of concerts in town and stay there for convenience. Its a nice hotel, beautiful, and very comfy and the staff is amazing. Would definitely recommend them to anyone
