What an incredible place to stay!!! Owner was very welcoming and informative on local interests. The room (mini apartment) felt like home. We stayed in the room above the carriage house. Perfect for a private and relaxing get away. Within walking distance of downtown historic Savannah (about 1.6 miles) but far enough out that you are not overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. I will say being a historic home with historic windows you can easily hear street traffic but it was not a bother to us. The Garden was a perfect outdoor hideaway and even inspired us with ideas for our own garden. A short walk to local eateries and about a 5 minuet walk to Forsyth Park. This Inn is highly recommended in our book. We hope to visit again.
