Excellent! This was our honeymoon. Room was perfect. Location convenient to restaurants and bars. Staff was excellent complete with turn down service, valet, and welcome including champagne and cookies. Checkout was seamless. No waiting for someone to respond to our request.

We booked this trip as a “baby moon” to relax before our third child arrives and so that we could rest for a weekend. Our first night here was pretty bad. We spent more money on a deluxe room, thinking it would be nicer (especially in the bathroom) and looking back i really don’t know what the difference is in the cheaper rooms and the “deluxe”. The first night they put us in an industrial room on the 5th floor and the rooftop club was so loud we literally knew what songs were playing and felt like the bass was in our pillows. The music went until at least 1am. So not much rest or sleep. The toilet in this room also shot water out of the bowl every time you flushed it. We asked to get moved to another room and they moved us to the Atlantic side and it was much quieter. We got a little more rest, however these beds are not very comfortable. We woke up each morning with stiff backs and sore. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating but the stay, for a Marriott, was overall not good.

The check-in process was very disappointing. We were told that our room was not ready at 2:45 PM but would be ready in 15-20 mins. No problem. However, we didn’t get the room until 4:05 PM. And despite the official check in time being 4 PM, the agent rudely stated that she was “doing us a favor”. I asked for an extra set of towels and never received it. The same agent and unfriendly behavior was experienced during check out. This left a bad taste in my mouth. The valet staff were great.
