We stayed in the Power Plant building. The dinosaur and geologic collection were fantastic. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. First night there was loud music coming from the bar downstairs until 10:30 PM, but at least they stopped on time. We ate breakfast at the Turbine Market & Cafe each day which was very good. Also had lunch at the Savannah Tequila Co. which was also very good.

The Plant Disrict has so much to offer! We only tried 3 of the many restaurants on the property, but all 3 were wonderful choices! BBQ. Breakfast. Burgers. Yum. The JW Marriott did a fantastic job putting new life into an abandoned power plant along the busy river walk. You can see huge container ships coming into port a few times a day, it's wild how BIG they are! This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Savannah. Easly accessible via Uber and very easy to go walking from!

The “off the menu choices” for breakfast offered at the cafe in the Marriott Plant was delicious, housekeeping does a terrific job, bed & pillows were extremely comfortable & furniture, carpet & bedding all were in great shape. The Marriott Plant offered a couple great amenities to include car service to restaurants, etc in downtown Savannah at no cost (I always tipped the driver) & at check-in I was given a discount card for each day of my stay for $18 off one meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) at any of the three Riverside Marriotts on the property I can honestly say every staff member I encountered was friendly & eager to help. I had a great 4 night stay, would definitely stay again & would highly recommend the hotel to family & friends.
